Faye Prewett Norlander
Funeral services for Faye Prewett Norlander, 84, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw.
Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Norlander was born on Jan. 3, 1938, in Nicut, to Marvin Maze Prewett and Sylvia Armindia (Curl) Prewett. She died on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was an educator for many years in Somerset, Wis., and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sallisaw.
She married Robert Michael Norlander on March 27, 1961, in Las Vegas.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Star Prairie, Wis.; two sons, Mark Norlander of Eagen, Minn., and Michael Norlander of New Brighton, Minn.; two sisters, Joyce Vaughn of Tahlequah and Margie Settlemyer of Broken Arrow; one brother, Odell Prewett of Bakersfield, Calif.; one grandchild; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Melba Elaine Prewett Lynn; and two brothers, Jimmie Harold Prewett and Clell Prewett.
Viewing is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Sallisaw.
