Sequoyah County Commissioners approved several construction and other related items on their Monday agenda and business pertaining to the county during their regular meeting.
Approved was a change order submitted by Dist. 3 Commissioner Jim Rogers to purchase pipes left over from the Redwood Road project. Rogers said usually the suppliers will pick them back up but decided to purchase them to use when needed.
They also approved detention service agreements between Sequoyah County and the Pottawatomie County Detention Center and the Cleveland County Regional Juvenile Detention Center. Under new business the commissioners approved a Transfer of Appropriations for $2,000 from the Court Clerk Payroll to Property Resale to pay back a loan for the July Payroll.
Approved also was a request from the Sequoyah County Sheriff‚s Office to re-apply for the JAG/LLE Grant.
They also approved the final sale and deed of property located in Sallisaw at a price of $3,242.
