Muldrow homecoming parade, ceremony Friday before game

A parade kicks off homecoming festivities Friday for Muldrow High School, followed by introduction of the football queen and her court, and capped by the Bulldogs hosting the Checotah Wildcats in their district opener.

The parade steps off at 2:10 p.m. The parade forms at the high school, then will proceed east to Armstrong Bank, with the band joining at the traffic light. The parade will form again at City Hall, continuing south to the traffic light, and then back to the high school.

A parade kicks off homecoming festivities Friday for Muldrow High School, followed by introduction of the football queen and her court, and capped by the Bulldogs hosting the Checotah Wildcats in their district opener.

The parade steps off at 2:10 p.m. The parade forms at the high school, then will proceed east to Armstrong Bank, with the band joining at the traffic light. The parade will form again at City Hall, continuing south to the traffic light, and then back to the high school.

The queen and her court will be introduced at 6:15 p.m. at the football stadium, along with introduction of senior football players and royalty representing each school organization.

Homecoming royalty is:

• Senior Ella Claborn, daughter of Casey and Renee Claborn, has been chosen at football queen.

• Senior queen attendant is Lindsey Russell, daughter of Steve and Jill Russell.

• Junior queen attendant is Cailey Grinstead, daughter of Deanna Vann-Vest and Tara Vest.

• Sophomore queen attendant is Calli Qualls, daughter of Glen and Jodi Qualls.

• Football princess is Dixie Cooper, daughter of Jason and Chere‚ Cooper.

• Freshman princess attendant is Jaydin Dean, daughter of Wesley and Betty Dean.

• Eighth grade attendant is Ali Ki Phillips, daughter of Joe and Kendra Phillips.

• Seventh grade attendant is Nevaeh Garcia, daughter of Christopher and Rebecca Garcia.

• Duke and duchess chosen from the sixth grade class are Duchess Daniela Frias, daughter of Ana Lopez and Juan Cortes, and Duke Noah Larcade, son of Chris and Erin Larcade.

• Flower girl and crown bearer chosen from the fourth grade class are flower girl Tildyn Lovell, daughter of Ricky and Taylor Lovell, and crown bearer Creysen Hoover, son of Michael and Jerri Hoover.

The football is the climax for homecoming, kicking off at 7 p.m.
