During the week of Sept. 21 to Oct. 2, Sequoyah County Law Enforcement tended to 22 animal calls, 34 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week‚s reports:

9/21/22

11:27 p.m.- Welfare Check- RP called and was concerned for welfare of a woman walking on side of I-40, MM320-323, who was wearing jean shorts and a shirt with no shoes. She was staggering and he believed she was in some distress. -Jeff Neighbors made an arrest. 9/22/22 8:03 a.m.- Information- In the vicinity of E. 1026 Rd. RP advised that her neighbor is stealing her water and she is concerned about a small child that is at the house. She stated that they are on drugs, and she wants something done. However, she has a doctor‚s appointment and is going to call back. RP called back stated that she is not going to the doctor she is going to wait on a deputy. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 8:19 a.m.- Suspicious Person- RP advised he was driving through Marble City over an hour ago and there was a guy with no shirt on, bald head, carrying an assault rifle. He thinks he lives when you turn north at the four-way and somewhere on the left there is a deer statue in yard. -Cody Parkerson was unable to make contact. 10:57 a.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Fin & Feather. RP wants to speak to a deputy in reference to a male subject who has been staying at her residence that she owns, but doesn‚t live there, without her permission and today he came to her mothers and was threatening her. -Cody Parkerson spoke to RP via phone. 1:29 p.m.- Assault hands/feet- RP advised that a subject was at his house and he has charges pending against him, and was making threats and threw a rock at him, and assaulted his brother. RP stated that the male subject took off walking, he is wearing shorts and a black leather jacket. -Galen Irvin made an arrest. 7:15 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Garrison Bridge. RP called to request a welfare check on a male subject walking on the railing in dark blue shirt, blue jeans, with sandy shaggy hair carrying a backpack. -Call canceled prior to Jeff Neighbors arrival. 7:15 p.m.- Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP advised that she saw a female running toward the road in a gray T-shirt and shorts. Delta 9 advised he was out with a female that ran up to him, she advised she had been assaulted and her husband has just pulled up behind him. -Eric Helms and Mark Choate responded to this call. 7:52 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Fin & Feather. RP would like to make a report of her purse being stolen from Soda Steve‚s. -Jimmy Carson responded to this call.

8:30 p.m.- Drugs- RP advised that his wife has overdosed on muscle relaxers. She was sweating and twitching and talking. He also stated, “with her you never know what else.” EMS also went en route. -Jeff Neighbors responded to this call. 10:18 p.m.- Suspicious Person- At Snack Mart. RP advised there is a male subject in a blue car attempting to enter the store that is locked. He then screamed at the female clerk for several minutes before getting back in his car and honking the horn. -Vian PD and Charles Webber responded to this call.

9/23/22

1:01 p.m.- Medical- In the vicinity of Hwy. 10. Car came out of park and rolled into a 83-year-old female and hurt her shoulder and ribs. EMS en route at 1:02. -Gore PD responded to this call. 1:08 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of 1117 Rd. RP requested welfare check on 46-year-old female handicapped due to stroke. Mother advised if someone didn‚t help her she would start hitting the daughter. Daughter was screaming in background don‚t hit me, mother hung up with DHS hotline worker. DHS hotline worker is the RP for this call. -Roger Johnson responded to this call.

1:44 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1113 Loop. RP advised her mother just got out of the mental hospital. She is now with a known felon, and they are buying drugs off the street. The mothers landlord called the RP and advised that people are moving stuff in and out of the residence. She would like a welfare check done. -Roger Johnson and Randy Taylor responded to this call.

2:55 p.m.- 10-21 phone call- In the vicinity of E. 996 Rd. RP would like to speak with a deputy to see what she can do about her neighbor videoing her grandkids while they played in the driveway. -Shane Petree spoke to RP via phone call. 3:39 p.m.- 10-21 Phone call- In the vicinity of S. 4541 Rd. RP would like to speak with a deputy to see if there is anything she can do about her neighbor standing outside naked. -Brian Stone responded to this call. 7:57 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4616 Rd. RP advised she has a protective order on her ex-husband and his wife. She advised last Saturday she seen what appeared to be their Dodge Journey sitting at Blunt Baptist Church near her home and tonight she received a call saying they may possibly be at the church in their black Tahoe and it is making her uncomfortable. -Austin Blackfox responded to this call. 8:58 p.m.- Other- Roland PD received a call from an RP who advised he had gotten in an altercation with another driver just east of Wholesale Motors on a dirt road. During the altercation RP advised the other driver got out of his vehicle and pointed a shotgun at the RP. Roland PD has suspect stopped at Hwy. 64 under the overpass. The RP is out at Cherokee Nation Travel Plaza in a white Jeep Wrangler. -Austin Blackfox and Allen Ramey responded to this call. 11:01 p.m.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd. 819 advised the jail called him and advised him that a subject from the jail‚s ex-husband was at the residence and he cut some locks. There was a verbal altercation and a firearm was pulled and the ex-husband left the residence. -Jeremy Day and Austin Blackfox responded to this call.

9/24/22

12:05 p..m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1107 Rd. RP advised she received a phone call saying there is someone inside the home ripping things out at one of her rental properties. She is on her way to the property now. -Brian Stone responded to this call. 5:18 p.m.- 10-21 Phone Call- In the vicinity of E. 1099 Rd, RP advised he went to look at property for sale and when he got there the lady had six or seven dogs that jumped all over his vehicle and scratched it and he would like to see what he can do. -Roger Johnson responded to this call. 10:30 p.m.- Shooting firearms unsafe- In the vicinity of E. 1056 Rd. RP advised about 45 minutes ago her children were walking home from a friend‚s house down the road and they stopped at the end of a driveway to speak with some other friends and the RP‚s neighbor shot a “warning shot” at the house because they believed the children were drunk. She would like to make a report. -Allen Ramey and Austin Blackfox responded to this call.

9/25/22

1:32 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1055 Rd. RP advised there was a male with no shirt on carrying a big stick that came to her door beating on it, now he is walking back toward the road and headed north. -Cody Parkerson and Brian Stone responded to this call. 2:44 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1020 Rd. RP advised that his ex-wife pulled onto his property and poured pop all over his vehicle. RP advised that he has filed a report due to similar situation. -Brian Stone spoke to RP via phone call.

9/26/22

6:08 a.m.- Runaway Juvenile- In the vicinity of S. 4650 Rd. RP called and reported that her 12-year-old son went missing sometime since midnight. She said that he and his brother had been talking about going and camping on the track at school, as well as a few other places, but the mother has checked them all.

He is described as stocky build, five foot tall and curly dark brown hair. He was wearing a white Sallisaw football T-shirt, black and white shorts and a Brushy cap. At 6:15 a.m. received a call from worker at Sparks corner store to advise of a juvenile male matching the description at the store. They are going to keep him there. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 8:03 a.m.- Missing Person- In the vicinity of W. Cherokee. Will be taking a report on residence. Family dropped off their two kids Saturday about noon, was to be back later that day and has not been reached. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 2:57 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Meadow RV Park. RP is in New Jersey for work and he would like a welfare check done on his husband. He thinks he is on drugs and would like someone to go check on him. -Larry Lane responded to this call. 5:44 p.m.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of the westbound rest area. RP advised her boyfriend pushed her out of the vehicle and he will not give her purse to her. He did give her glasses to her and she is wanting to be taken to a shelter. -Jeff Neighbors responded to this call.

7:24 p.m.- Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd. RP advised that his ex-girlfriend has a PO against him and stated that she had dropped off at his residence, would like to know what he can do about that. -Charles Webber responded to this call. 10:04 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4700 Rd. RP advised a male subject is hitting people with a hammer. There is about five people at the residence. RP is locked in his bedroom with his granddaughter and does not have a lot of information. St 10:09 there are no injuries at the residence and the suspect has left, unknown direction of travel in a green 4-door car. -Jeff Neighbors and OHP responded to this call. 10:15 p.m.- Fire- In the vicinity of 4750 Rd., is out with McKey Fire. They asked for a deputy because there are people burning and we are under a burn ban. -Charles Webber responded to this call.

9/27/22

10:23 a.m.- Trespassing- RP advised that a subject was trespassing on his property last week and deputy Day was unable to trespass the subject from the property. The RP stated that the subject was back on his property this morning with a pistol and a hatchet, and the RP wants him trespassed from the property. -Jeremy Day responded to this call. 11:53 a.m.- Speak with Deputy RP advised his wife hit a baby deer this morning and it was barely alive. The RP took the deer home and killed it, and went ahead and got the meat from it and would like to know if he is going to get in trouble for it. -Wildlife responded to this call. 8:18 p.m.- Child- RP took his daughter to Help in Crisis about five months ago for an interview regarding a subject. The daughter told her father that the subject has been going and sitting down the roadway from the residence and just watches her. He possibly set fire to the RP‚s trailer. Trailer used to belong to the RP‚s father. -Jeff Neighbors responded to this call.

9/28/22

4:37 a.m.- Motorist Assist- 805 Advised Vian 307 got a call that there was a woman laying behind her car on North Rodgers St. and 1040 Rd. -Charles Webber, Brian Rutherford and Jeff Neighbors responded to this call. 11:21 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of S. 4730 Rd. RP would like for a deputy to do a welfare check on a subject, They stated that he is sick and he doesn‚t have any food. He hasn‚t been taking his medication, sister is on her way to the store right now to get him some food. -Roger Johnson responded to this call. 1:40 p.m.- Information- RP advised that her husband is holding her against her will and they are starving her and her child. She stated that they have her and the baby in one room. -Vian PD and Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 3:37 p.m.- Assault hands/feet- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised that Monday he was involved in a road rage incident and when the RP got out to confront the cat, the female got out and slapped him. Both parties got back in their vehicles and the female followed him to the residence and cornered him at his residence, and took pictures of him and posted him on the internet and would like to make a report. -Roger Johnson responded to this call. 7:15 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4680 Rd. RP advised that his ex is at his residence and he does not want her there. Female is sitting in the driveway in a grey Chevy Equinox. -Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded to this call. 11:33 p.m.- Altercation- In the vicinity of S. Rogers St. V-307 advised that he had gotten a call from a male stating that his neighbor is standing outside in his yard yelling obscenities. -Vian PD and Mark Choate responded to this call.

9/29/22

3:03 p.m. Traffic- Directing traffic for fire in the median in front of Cheyenne‚s. -Josh Smith. 4:54 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4715 Rd. RP advised that his ex-wife has contacted him stating that she was moving back in. He told her that she is not welcome there. He would like to speak with a deputy. -Mark Choate advised it was civil. 8:12 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4650 Rd. RP advised his wife was coming home about 15 minutes ago and there was a strange male walking down the road. He tried talking to the female, then lunged at her before running south towards Hwy. 101. Subject is a Hispanic male wearing a yellow hoodie. -Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded to this call. 9:41 p.m.- Speak With Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4595 Rd. RP advised she was at her mother‚s house and they got in an argument because her mother said she is not a Christian. During the argument she said her mother hit her and broke her glasses. She left the residence in her vehicle unknown direction of travel or where she is going but she would like to speak to a deputy because she believes her mother is bipolar. RP was slurring her words and hard to understand. -Austin Blackfox responded to this call.

9/30/22

8:35 a.m.- Assault hands/feet- In the vicinity of S. 4595 Rd. RP advised her mother is at her house and last night she was hitting her, so she left with her kids. She said she wants her mom gone from her house so her and the kids can go back home. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 9:44 a.m.- Welfare Check- RP advised of a heavy-set black female in white and blue pants and a gray top sitting on the Garrison Bridge starring into the water. Would like a welfare check on her. -Jeremy Day responded to this call. 3:48 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4806 Rd. RP advised that he just got home from a hospital stay and all the tires on his vehicles are slit and he has video of his father in law doing it. Would like to make a report. -Jeremy Day took this report. 4:14 p.m.- Domestic- RP advised his brother and brother‚s girlfriend live on his property with him. He believes the girlfriend has taken meth and she is acting irate throwing and breaking things. He advised everything is verbal between parties right now but in the past deputies have come out because it had gotten physical. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 4:15 p.m.- Welfare Check- RP works for St. Francis and advised they have been receiving emails from a subject for about a week now. At first he was talking about St. Francis but the emails have escalated and he is now homicidal. The male has stated, “In order for me to live I need to kill a female.” RP advised the director of Psychiatry has been in contact with him and they would like a deputy to check his mental state. -Charles Webber responded to this call. 5:33 p.m.- Threats- RP advised a subject threatened him with a metal pipe. RP is in a grey truck outside of Speedy Loans and the suspect is still inside the building. At 5:34 called Roland PD and they are going to have an officer 10-19 as well. -Jeremy Day responded to this call.

7:44 p.m.- 10-21 phone call- In the vicinity of S. 4727 Rd. RP advised that his granddaughter and her boyfriend are moving into one of his houses on his property and they noticed three cameras that has been put up on his private property. He would like to speak to a deputy to see if there is a way they can find out who put the cameras up. -Jeff Neighbors responded to this call. 10:04 p.m.- Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised that someone had lit a candle near her trailer that burnt down and when she blew out it out and turned around, someone was standing behind her with a headlamp and she asked who they were and what they needed, they turned their headlamp off and went into the woods. RP has no clothing description. -Jeff Neighbors responded to this call. 11:32 p.m.- Suspicious Person RP advised of two people with masks running about the post office and looking in the windows. -Vian PD responded to this call.

10/1/22

8:39 a.m.- In the vicinity of WW Grocery. RP advised that a man called and first said he is going to call the DA and sue her for slander. Called back and said she won‚t have to worry about the DA but needs to worry about him. -Jeremy Day spoke to party via phone call. 9:17 a.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd. RP advised his wife is cheating on him and he has asked her to leave, and she is refusing. His mother-in-law is now texting him saying if he tries to make her leave, she will call us and say he is violent. There are children and guns in the home. Parties are separated. -Dennis Thomas and Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 12:54 p.m.- Stolen Vehicle- 801 received a call about a Ford truck dumped at the entrance of the Lime Plant north of Gore on the right side near the trees. Dispatch ran the 28 it is showing stolen out of Tulsa. -Cody Parkerson and Jeremy Day responded to this call. 1:38 p.m.- Speak with Deputy RP advised that he is renting a house and 5 acres from his landlord. They have put a deer blind and corn on the property and he has asked them to remove it and they will not. -Cody Parkerson spoke to RP via phone call. 2:21 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of Steve Rogers Rd. RP advised that a subject is on the property and he has been trespassed several times. -Gore Pd and Cody Parkerson responded to this call. 7:06 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of Vian Wildlife Refuge. Teenagers in Dodge Dakota green/pewter extended cab are driving like “maniacs.” -Charles Webber responded to this call.

10/2/22

12:02 a.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of N. Bluff Hole Rd. RP advised that they were hearing a lot of screaming. They went to the residence to see if everything was ok and a couple of males walked from behind the residence stating that they didn‚t hear anything. She also stated there were two young females at the residence. -Andrew Edwards and Charles Webber responded to this call.

1:26 p.m.- Suspicious Person- At Gans Baseball Field. RP advised that they were having practice and a female subject had walked up talking out of her head, not making any sense. Unknown of who the female party is, she is wearing a black shirt, blue pants and blonde hair. -Jeremy Day responded to this call. 8:24 p.m.- Child- In the Happy Corner Area. RP wants to speak with someone about her exhusband letting their son drive a vehicle with an adult in the car with him. -Jeff Neighbors spoke to RP via phone call. 8:37 p.m.- Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of S. 4735 Rd. RP would like to speak with a deputy about someone having 63 on his property. -Jeff Neighbors spoke to RP via phone call. 11:07 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of E. 1040 Rd. RP advised that she has property at a residence north of Muldrow and has been told they would shoot her if she came to the residence to get her items. -Jeff Neighbors spoke to RP via phone call.
