Pastor recognized for 15 years
The congregation of Notchietown Church in Gore recently recognized their pastor, Tim Beam and his wife Vickie for serving God at their church for the past 15 years. Tim agreed to supply pastor for three weeks in June of 2007, but God kept him coming back to supply for several more months. He accepted the call as bi-vocational pastor later that year. The congregation of Notchietown Church in Gore recently recognized their pastor, Tim Beam and his wife Vickie for serving God at their church for the past 15 years. Tim agreed to supply pastor for three weeks in June of 2007, but God kept him coming back to supply for several more months. He accepted the call as bi-vocational pastor later that year. Under their leadership, the church has become a missions minded congregation by monthly supporting St. Jude‚s Children‚s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, The Center for Mission Mobilization, missionary Mike Russell and local individuals and families with various needs. God has also blessed the church with its 50year anniversary in March 2020 and a debt-free auditorium and fellowship hall remodel in the fall of 2021.
