Residents plan ice cream social

By Annette Crowder

Welcome again to the Vian Nursing and Rehab News. As I mentioned in last week‚s news that we were making apple brown Betty, well, let me tell you it was about the best thing we have ever made. Welcome again to the Vian Nursing and Rehab News. As I mentioned in last week‚s news that we were making apple brown Betty, well, let me tell you it was about the best thing we have ever made. The residents each had their own baking station and prepared them all on their own. We will definitely make this again.

This next week is full of fun activities, starting with Landmark Missionary Baptist bringing cookies for all this Saturday, Randy Waters to play his guitar and sing, an old fashioned ice cream social, corn hole, dominos and much, much more. We are going to start taking morning walks as the weather is so nice and the exercise certainly won‚t hurt us either.

We have several Sundays open for church services. So if anyone is interested please call Annette at 918-773-5258. We are also seeking donations of buttons for a Christmas craft we will be working on, so if you can help just drop them by the home.

This week‚s resident shout out goes to June from your husband Johnny. I love you very much. Well that‚s all for now, I‚ve got the ladies waiting on me. So until next week God bless… Annette.
