Registration for classes are now being taken for Tenkiller Women in the Outdoors. The event will be held Nov. 3-6 and early check-in is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 4.
The event will take place at Tenkiller State Park, north of Vian, and is sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Classes and activities include orienteering, fly fishing, sustainable beekeeping, kayaking, Dutch oven cooking, muzzle loader shooting, archery, skeet shooting, and more. The first hunting orientation group will do their classes on Thursday and hunt on Friday. The second hunting orientation group will do their class on Friday night and hunt on Sunday.
