Orville Rough ‘Rusty’ Gordon III
Orville Rough “Rusty” Gordon III entered the United States Naval Academy in July 1971. During his time of service he made a European goodwill tour in July and August 1972.
Orville Rough “Rusty” Gordon III entered the United States Naval Academy in July 1971. During his time of service he made a European goodwill tour in July and August 1972.
While at the Naval Academy he received medals for pistol and rifle marksmanship, All American Squash player, number one in flight school, and set a record for demerits as a sophomore yet retained class leadership of number one.
Gordon served two and a half years then transferred to Auburn University in Alabama.
He is the son of Ahunawake Taylor and Orville Rough Jr.
