Born October 29, 1921, he served his country with the United States Marine Corps from April 1, 1942 to April 4, 1946. His service took him to San Diego, Pearl Harbor, Midway Island, Camp Lejeune, Guam, Okinawa and back to San Diego. He married Dorothy Hutsell on December Claudie Waldrop World War II Army Veteran Served three years active duty and three years reserve duty.
