Scout troop receives donation
The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma donated $1,000 to Sallisaw Boy Scout Troop 731 to help with the cost of attending Winter Camp during Christmas Break. Scouts will spend four days camping and working on merit badges in addition to attending campfires and other activities.

The troop held a free dinner for veterans on November 7 with a total of 65 people, including veterans and their families, attending.
