Trinity Missions Fundraisers of the Muldrow/Roland Trinity United Methodist Church announces the Holiday Helper Fundraiser to be held from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

The event will include a bake sale, Christmas crafts sale, gift wrapping and bows, and specialized wrapping, according to Lavonna Smith, church fundraiser coordinator. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the purchase of air conditioning for the new pantry building, Smith said.

“We will have a bake sale to help with your Thanksgiving gathering with cakes, pies, cookies, homemade jellies and other special items,” Smith said.

“We will also have Christmas items to help you decorate your lovely home. The craft items will include assorted Native American arts & crafts, scrunchies, cookbooks, jewelry, candles and crocheted items. There will be a lot of nice gift and decorating items.

“Gift wrapping will be provided to wrap the items you want to give as gifts so you can have that done when you leave.

“We will have a very special table for bows and gift wrapping. Bring in gifts you already have and need wrapped. Leave them at the entry table and then when you are ready to leave, you can pick them up on your way out,” she said.

“That table will also offer redecorating and refreshing your wreathes that you can bring with you. Speciality items like individually designated glass Advent wreaths and glass gift baskets filled with Holistic items or food to order meeting your needs. There will be some services you would be interested in and can get information and place your orders at that table.”

Smith said the kitchen will be open for lunch with chili, hotdogs and a variety of other foods and drinks.

Muldrow/Roland Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 1601 East Shawntel Smith Blvd. in Muldrow. For more information, call 918-427-4151. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
