Residents getting ready for Christmas

By Annette Crowder

Hello once again and welcome to all. We would like to thank all of you for bringing your little ghosts and goblins here for Halloween. The residents so enjoyed seeing all of them, and what a turnout. We had kids everywhere, what fun.

Vian Nursing and Rehab

Hello once again and welcome to all. We would like to thank all of you for bringing your little ghosts and goblins here for Halloween. The residents so enjoyed seeing all of them, and what a turnout. We had kids everywhere, what fun.

We hosted a family Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday evening for our residents and families. What a wonderful evening it was. We had a phenomenal turnout, as we served over 200 guests. We would like to thank our amazing dietary staff for an amazing meal. It was outstanding! And thanks to all of our staff for a job well done. We appreciate all of you.

Well I guess that means the holiday season is officially upon us. We will be putting up our Angel Tree on Nov. 25. I’m not sure of its location but I will let you know We would like to take this opportunity to thank all veterans for their service to our country. We are forever in your debt! For our veterans here at the home, a group of students from Vian will be here to present each veteran with a card of thanks. If you visit please stop and look at the Fallen Soldier table presented by Complete Hospice. It is beautiful. Thanks Meagan. To Aria Care as well for the cards, thanks Jordan.

We have lots of activities planned this week. We are baking Bundt cakes, playing the Rhyme Game, bingo, manicures, Michael Waylon and Company, was well as a shopping trip. Never a dull moment around here.

Well its bingo time so I guess that’s all for now. This week’s shout out is from the residents to the staff, “thanks for everything, we appreciate all of you!”

Until next time…God Bless, Annette.
