Christianity, capitalism and Constitution.
Christianity, capitalism and Constitution.
God says, “THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.” Which means it’s the root that produces evil, all kinds of evil, and if greed for filthy lucre and love for ungodly mammon is most important to us, if that is our number 1 priority then evil will be created for all of us to deal with. Money is a good unit of exchange to keep everything fair and balanced; therefore, without money a life could be miserable and an excessive amount of money could make a life miserable, (I’ve heard) therefore to be ambitious and respectable we need a certain amount to live our life and have some left over to spend or to give to the needy. Capitalism and Christianity work hand in hand very well and it benefits all of society; but when greedy people, that love money supremely, begin to work the system, legally, it offsets the circulation and money becomes a scarce commodity. Common labor will be working more for less in order to survive. Some rich people are free hearted and some are so greedy that making money has become an obsession with them to get all they can and can all they get and sit on the can. Their addiction to making and keeping money is just as real as other addictions. This is a growing cancer in our country that produces poverty, crime and communism: the only solution is a nationwide Christian revival where the vast majority will do unto others as they would have them do unto them and they would love their neighbor as themselves. Christians can be determined without being stubborn: we can be firm without being rude; we can be confident without being arrogant; we can be ambitious without being greedy; we can be generous without being wasteful and we can be thrifty without being stingy. The natural man loves money and the power it creates but the spiritual man is responsible to God to be thankful for it and confess that he is just a steward over many things to use for God’s glory and everybody’s good. We need to elect officials that have Jesus Christ as their lord and they have been serving him in the past. Jesus will empower them to fulfill their vows to God, people and the Constitution. There are righteous solutions to every worldly problem but it takes people that have God in their heart to find them and Godly power to use them.
