11/21/2022 to 11/28/2022

week of Nov. 21 -28, Sequoyah County Law Enforcement tended to seven animal calls, 140 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

11/21/22

2:33 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4705 Rd. RP advised her husband has kicked her out of the home she would like to know what she can do. -Austin Blackfox responded.

10:08 a.m.- Harassment- RP advised a male chased kids down the street and began yelling and cussing at them, and held her son and his friend hostage for about 20 minutes and would not let them leave on their dirt bikes. -Jeremy Day responded.

11:58 a.m.- Suspicious Person In the vicinity of 1100 Rd. RP advised a male driving a gray mini SUV with Texas tags trying to sell an air compressor for gas money. The RP realized it was the same male that had taken property from their residence and is requesting a deputy to check him out. -Jeremy Day responded.

12:59 p.m.- Fraud- In the vicinity of S. 4450 Rd. RP advised she owns a store on Hwy. 10A and a female bought something Friday with counterfeit money. -Daniel Whitus responded.

8:30 p.m.- Child- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd. RP wants to make a report of an assault. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:51 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4765 Rd. RP advised there had been a male subject on her property looking for a deer he had shot. RP stated the male is no longer on her property but she is requesting to file a report due to him trespassing. -Jeff Neighbors took this report.

11/22/22

5:38 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised he just got home and some property is gone, including money, jewelry, etc. -Jeremy Day responded.

12:07 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of S. 4720 Rd. RP advised an old Ford was parked at the end of the driveway and almost T-boned he. She is wanting to speak to a deputy. RP stated it was an elderly female driving the vehicle and a male subject in the passenger seat with a mask over his face. -Jeremy Day responded.

3:45 p.m.- Drugs- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd. RP thinks there is someone dealing drugs out of a vacant house next to his. -Jeremy Day responded.

5:32 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd. RP advised of a suspicious male wearing a sweatshirt, jeans and a red backpack. Stated he appears to be trying to set fires in the ditch. -Randy Taylor and Charles Webber made an arrest.

7: 42 p.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4806 Rd. RP advised neighbors across the road are working on something and have loud music. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

11/23/22

12:04 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1064 Rd. Muldrow PD asked for a welfare check on a vehicle at the shop across from Piggly Wiggly. Has been running for over 24 hours and no one in or around it. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

3:00 a.m.- In the vicinity of E.

1056 Rd. Officer from Burlington, Colo. advised a vehicle has been parked at the welcome center for around one week. He doesn’t see anything in the vehicle. Asked if deputy would try to make contact with owners and contact the PD so they know what to do with the vehicle. Spoke with 815 and he advised since it is 3 a.m. and there is nothing that appears to be suspicious or criminal activity, to wait until a reasonable time to attempt making contact. -Roger Johnson responded.

9:28 a.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of E. 1098 Rd. RP advised a subject is calling him and making threats, saying he is going to put signs in people’s yard saying how bad of a person he is and he owes him money. RP stated he had his number blocked but he called him from a different number this morning. -Shane Petree responded.

3:12 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of Nicut, RP advised a subject is making illegal moonshine and wants to report it. -Shane Petree responded.

5:10 p.m.- Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 100 and 4490 Rd. RP advised a male subject is sitting in the middle of the road wearing a black shirt and ball cap. -Mark Choate, Shane Petree, Tenkiller State Park and Austin Blackfox responded.

9:07 p.m.- Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of E. 1000 Rd. RP advised a male subject had broken into his residence earlier today and he has it on camera. Unknown if anything has been stolen. -Sequoyah County Deputies responded.

9:32 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4690 Rd. RP advised her son and his wife are at her home for Thanksgiving and are arguing. There are no weapons in the home and all parties are separated. -Cherokee Nation Marshal, Austin Blackfox and Allen Ramey made an arrest.

11/24/22

1:19 a.m.- Other- Muldrow PD advised a subject is at their location wanting to speak to a deputy and report that their father is cooking dope. -Muldrow PD is having RP fill out a statement statement.

11:16 a.m.- Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Highland Dr. Roland PD advised a subject called and said her son brought home a female and all they know is her first name. She told them she was wanted by the police and they want to report it. -Roger Johnson responded.

12:25 p.m.- Shooting Firearms Unsafe- In the vicinity of S. 4728 Rd. RP advised there was a gold Ford truck and she heard a gunshot when the vehicle left. It’s a male and female, they stopped at her residence and were screaming and yelling they would be back. -Roger Johnson and Brian Stone responded.

8:12 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of W. Cherokee.

WL-211 advised of a male and female subject wearing dark clothing walking in the roadway. Stated that vehicles have almost hit them. -Sallisaw PD responded.

8:19 p.m.- Fire- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised a subject has set his residence on fire and is now making threats to kill her. RP is no longer at the residence, will be down the road. Fire has been paged out as well. -Austin Blackfox, Cherokee Nation Marshal, Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded.

11/25/22

8:41 a.m.- Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of E. 1053 Rd. RP requesting extra patrol due to another taking guns and leaving, now causing issues. -Jeremy Day responded.

11:30 a.m.- Other- RP wants to speak to a deputy about a report. Subject has filed a report stating their child was kidnapped and there is a custody and visitation order in place, and this is the father’s visitation time. -Jeremy Day spoke to party via phone.

6:10 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Flat Rock Road. Muldrow PD advised a subject said there was a vehicle parked around a curve where a new house is being built. Said at least two subjects were on the property and ran back to the vehicle, and were just sitting there. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

11/26/22

1:21 a.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of the VFW. 813 received a call about someone across the street from the VFW shooting at someone in the parking lot. -Cody Parkerson, Charles Webber, Jeff Neighbors, Sallisaw PD, and Randy Taylor responded.

9:47 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1044 Loop. RP advised they ordered a new phone and package arrived a few days ago. When they opened it up the phone was not in there. Box is damaged but can’t tell if it was opened and resealed. Spoke with T-Mobile and they advised her to contact local police to make a report. -Daniel Whitus responded.

10:39 p.m.- Assist- Muldrow PD requesting deputies to assist with subject that ran on foot. Beanie and gray hoodie. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

11/27/22

12:25 a.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4589 Rd. RP is complaining of loud music playing in the area, would like them to turn the music down. -Cody Parkerson responded.

9:00 a.m.- Child- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP went to pick up his son and the mother won’t let him. Stated there is paperwork in place. -Daniel Whitus advised it was civil.

10:44 a.m.- Harassment- In the vicinity of Hwy. 141. RP advised her ex-husband had shown up at her residence unannounced and then started texting her, harassing her. RP stated her lawyer advised her to make a report. -Daniel Whitus spoke to RP via phone.

10:57 a.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Freewill Baptist Church on Cottonwood. RP advised there has been a small trailer dropped off in the parking lot of the church. They want a deputy to check it out and make sure it isn’t stolen. -Jeremy Day responded.

7:04 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd. RP advised two females are accusing her of talking about them and are now making threats. They have been trespassed. -Gore PD responded.

11:03 p.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of Old 64. RP advised two males are across the road at the neighbors. They left on food running across the neighbor’s field eastbound. There was a white Ford Ranger at the end of the driveway that left headed westbound. -Jeff Neighbors and Andrew Edwards responded.

11/28/22

7:10 a.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. Unknown female advised her brother had her son in a chokehold and then kicked her out of the house. -Shane Petree and Brian Stone responded.
