A Few of My Favorite Things
It’s cookie time! This week I went with a more adult flair. They are baked though so they are still safe for the kids if you so choose to share. I would think these would make the cookie exchange parties so much more fun though!

When it comes to cookies, there are a few tools that will make it immensely easier to bake. First, get a good rubber spatula to scrape the bowl with. Second, parchment paper is a God-send. Use it. I can generally bake several batches of cookies before I change out the paper which makes it far better than cooking spray. Third, invest in a good, heavy duty cookie scoop. They are not all created equal and some will break before you even get through the first batch.
Make your grocery list and head to the store. Then, join me in the kitchen for delicious cookies you can take to that party! Pay attention to directions though. Some recipes call for refrigerating the dough and you need to take that into account.
