During the week of Dec. 12 to 19, Sequoyah County Law Enforcement tended to 16 animal calls, 103 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:
12/12/22
7:35 a.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised she is getting threats from a subject and is wanting to know what she needs to do to get a protective order. -Brian Stone spoke to party via phone.
8:01 a.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. Construction company is doing some work and one of their pieces of equipment has been vandalized. -Roger Johnson took this report.
12:31 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of Low Gap. RP advised that a male left a vehicle at his residence and he is worried that it is stolen because the male is acting suspicious. -Brian Stone responded.
1:15 p.m.- In the vicinity of the Marble City four-way stop. RP stated a subject was drunk and running in and out of the roadway, beating on his dog and cussing everyone. -Shane Petree responded.
12/13/22
1:05 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1111 Rd. RP advised that a white SUV hit and broke his mailbox. -Roger Johnson responded.
1:14 p.m.- 10-6 Busy- Josh Smith advised that the east side of Moffett School is down to one lane due to flooding, he is going to be directing traffic.
2:04 p.m.- Mental Health- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd. RP advised there is a subject who is mentally ill and he has scared all of them out of the house. -Brian Stone and Roger Johnson responded.
2:22 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4435 Rd. RP advised her boyfriend put his hands on her and she wants him to leave. He lives there but he took off across the field. -Shane Petree and Jeff Mooneyham responded.
3:08 p.m.- Drugs- In the vicinity of E. Redwood. RP advised they impounded a vehicle a while back and have a backpack full of medication that was left inside.They are wanting a deputy to come by and pick it up. -Brian Stone responded.
10:51 p.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd. RP advised his father called and advised him a subject has stabbed him, he is laying in his front yard. Subject is no longer at the residence, he has run off into the field behind the residence. -Mark Choate, Allen Ramey, Austin Blackfox, and Cherokee Nation Marshals responded.
12/14/22
6:38 a.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- At the church across from Dollar General on 59. RP advised a white Ford Ranger has been sitting in the parking lot of the church all morning. When she walked outside the vehicle left and then came back. When the bus came the vehicle got in the way of the bus, and the bus driver had to honk at the truck. When the bus driver honked, the person in the truck got out and walked towards the bus, and then got back in the truck and is still sitting there. -Daniel Whitus responded.
1:18 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1109 Rd. RP advised his neighbors keep coming on his property and they have punched his lock. -Jeremy Day responded.
2:00 p.m.- Information- RP advised that a month ago a subject was buying her travel trailer. He paid half of the amount and was going to pay the rest when he sold his house. He has since sold his house and hasn’t paid her for the travel trailer. -Jeremy Day responded.
4:54 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1109 Rd. RP advised there are two males trespassing on his property, stated that one male is running across his roof and the other is somewhere else on his property. RP could not give clothing descriptions. -Daniel Whitus and Jeremy Day responded.
6:39 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4756 Rd. RP advised her daughter’s boyfriend has been making threats to come to her residence to harm her. Male subject is not currently at the residence. RP would like to know what can be done. -Brian Stone responded.
6:54 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of N. Main. RP advised a subject was walking along the road and started shooting at a jeep that was parked in front of the RP’s residence.The RP advised her daughter was sitting in the jeep, talking to the people that were in the jeep. After firing the shots, he went to the neighbor’s residence. -Cherokee Nation Marshal, Jeff Neighbors, Brian Stone and Charles Webber responded.
8:55 p.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of E. 1001 Rd. RP advised after his neighbor comes home he sits in his vehicle, revving his engine. RP advised he has been doing this for a couple of weeks now, they are also setting off their car alarm. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
11:33 p.m.- 10-21 Phone Call- In the vicinity of 4505 Rd. RP would like to speak to a deputy about her friend trying to get her things from her boyfriend’s house but he is not letting her in. -Charles Webber responded.
12/15/22
11:57 p.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of S. 4740 Rd. RP advised her mother’s old business has been broken into and she is needing to file a report. She stated that her aunt caught them because they got stuck in the back yard and the aunt took pictures. -Galen Irvin responded.
1:19 p.m.- Fraud- In the vicinity of E. 1084 Rd. RP advised that her food stamp card was used in New York. RP advised she is in Fort Smith right now but would just come to the office and fill out a report. -Kenny Graham responded.
3:23 p.m.- Breaking and Entering RP advised her ex-boyfriend broke into her house, broke herTV, hit on her and spit on her.This call went straight to Gore PD cell phone and 505 called in here with all the information. -Gore PD and Jeremy Day responded.
5:57 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of Sheffield. RP advised his father choked and hit him, and then he kicked him out of the residence. RP will be at the end of the drive in a camo hoodie, jeans, boots and glasses. -Tenkiller State Park and Gore PD made an arrest.
12/16/22
12:16 a.m.- Assist- In the vicinity of E. Creek. Out with SPD, fight in progress, a group of people with bats throwing things at each other. -Cherokee Nation Marshal, Austin Blackfox and Mark Choate responded.
5:02 a.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of Martin Luther King Blvd. RP advised someone walked in front of her window, then she saw a vehicle pull into the drive and leave. Then she saw the person walk in front of the window again. -Vian PD responded.
7:50 a.m.- 10-21 Phone Call- In the vicinity of Lenington St. RP would like to speak with a deputy regarding her son. -Roger Johnson responded.
10:59 a.m.- Domestic- RP advised her ex-husband was throwing her mom around and ripping her clothes in the process.The subject had a firearm pointed at her dog. Dispatch stayed on phone until she felt OK to hang up and could hear that 807 was 10-90 until he answered his 90 on the radio. -Shane Petree, Brian Stone and Colton Goff responded.
4:39 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Hwy. 82. RP advised when she got home there was a black Honda car with dark tint sitting in her driveway, next to her mailbox. When the vehicle saw her they pulled away and went south on 82 towards Vian. She advised all the mail in her box was opened. She does not want to make a report. -Shane Petree responded.
6:44 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Sensations. RP advised there is a male customer in the store screaming and threatening everyone. He has left the store in a silver Toyota 4-door car headed east on 64. RP would like to make a report because this is a reoccurring issue. -Allen Ramey responded.
8:06 p.m.- Child- In the vicinity of E. 1117 Rd. RP advised she has guardianship of her three minor grandchildren. She allowed her daughter to take them for the holidays but they are not answering the phone and her daughter is being hateful, so she would like the children to be brought back to her residence. -Allen Ramey responded.
12/17/22
3:20 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of Outhouse Saloon. RP advised she is trying to leave and a vehicle has tried to run her over twice. At 3:25 a.m. RP called back and advised she has made it back home safely without being ran over. -Austin Blackfox responded.
5:30 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP advised a subject is having family issues that has caused him anxiety and a panic attack. He is walking, wearing blue jeans and a black Carhart jacket.They would like him checked out and see if he needs an ambulance. -Shane Petree responded.
10:01 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of Dollar General. RP advised that someone threw something from their vehicle and it struck her vehicle, cracking her window. -Allen Ramey responded.
12/18/22
2:55 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 1026 Rd. RP advised that her neighbors have a water faucet and is stealing her water. -Mark Choate and Austin Blackox responded.
12/19/22 8:04 a.m.- Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd. RP advised his vehicle was taken yesterday. A subject brought the vehicle back yesterday after a few days of being allowed to drive it and RP advised the female that she could not use the vehicle any longer and got the keys back from her. She told RP she was going somewhere and had a ride, and he did not realize she had taken the car key off the keys she gave back to him, and she took off in his van. -Jeremy Day responded.
9:16 a.m.- In the vicinity of E. 1120 Rd. RP advised a construction crew is blocking their driveway and they cannot leave their residence. They have asked them to move before and they get upset about it. RP is currently taking his mother to the doctor and won’t be back for a few hours. -Galen Irvin responded.
12:47 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1026 Rd. RP advised she watched a male in a jacket carrying a duffle bag walk along the side of her fence and to the woods, and stood for a minute before continuing into the woods. She is requesting a deputy to check it out. Jeremy Day responded.
3:24 p.m.- Traffic Stop- 911 received a call of a male pointing a firearm at the RP and his wife. RP advised the male was driving a silver hatchback with red flares. -Colton Goff, Herb Hutchinson and Jeremy Day responded.
4:04 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Lakeside RV. RP is the manager of Lakeside RV and a customer has abandoned an RV on the property.They want to know how long they have to wait before they have it removed. -Jeremy Day responded.
11:31 p.m.- Pursuit- Southbound on 82. GRDA is in pursuit, headed southbound of 82 with a stolen grey or light green Chevy Silverado.

12/20/22
12:07 a.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4678 Rd. RP advised a subject has been threatening to come to her house and kill her current fiancé, by facebook messenger. He called and she advised it sounded like he was getting into a vehicle.
He was last know to be driving a silver four door SUV with front end damage, and lives in the Short area. -Charles Webber, Cody Parkerson and Jeff Neighbors responded.
5:30 a.m.- Shooting Firearms- In the vicinity of Sequoyah St. RP advised she ran a man off who shot a gun off on her mother’s property. -Vian PD responded.
12:37 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of E. 1023 Rd.Two MVA involving mail carrier and a semi. No injuries, roadway is blocked. -OHP responded.
2:43 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 966 Rd. RP advised she and her ex are separating and he has barricaded the door to the house so she cannot get her things. She wants to know what she can do legally. -Jeremy Day responded.
3:19 p.m.- Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of S. 4515 Rd. RP advised his ring door bell went off and someone went inside. He stated his dogs are going crazy; red shirt, shorts and red hat. RP stated he is inTulsa. -Jeremy Day andTenkiller State Park responded.
5:56 p.m.- Suspicious Person- At the Dollar General on Indian Hill Rd. RP is the manager, he stated a man was in the bathroom for a couple of hours and he finally got him to acknowledge him, but he would not open the door.The RP went in and no one was in there but the ceiling tile was moved. He believes the subject is in the ceiling. -Mark Choate and Charles Webber responded.
12/21/22
10:06 a.m.- Information- In the vicinity of N. Main. RP advised he was renting a house and his renters have moved out and destroyed the house. He is wanting a deputy to come take a report from him so he can turn it in to the insurance company. – Shane Petree responded.
1:07 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of S. 4806 Rd. RP advised a subject broke into his house on Aug. 7, and they thought he just walked up to the house.The property owner has been doing some cleaning and located an early 2000 white flatbed Dodge.The vehicle has Oklahoma tags and it is at the back of the property. -Roger Johnson responded.
4:27 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of Four Star Diner. RP advised they had found a subject’s stolen van in Roland at the diner. Vehicle is now in their possession. -Cody Parkerson was given this information.
7:34 p.m.- Shooting Firearms- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64D. RP originally advised a silver Dodge had fired a gun in the area of Dora and they were now following the vehicle on I-40, heading westbound. They believe they are possibly intoxicated. RP called back and stated the vehicle following them and the other party is her ex. RP is now stopped at theTravel Plaza in Roland requesting to file a report. -Allen Ramey responded.
10:19 p.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of S. 4740 Rd. RP advised there is possible prowling around in a residence with flashlights, stated there isn’t supposed to be anyone there. -Austin Blackfox, Jeremy Day and Allen Ramey responded.
12/22/22
7:04 a.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised there is a silver/grey Dodge pick up sitting in front of his pasture gate.There should be no reason for anyone to be there. He would just like a deputy to check it out. -Shane Petree responded.
11:51 a.m.- Suspicious Person Male in blue Jeans and black jacket by Gans School. -Roger Johnson, Cody Parkerson and Colton Goff made an arrest.
9:56 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 1057 Rd. RP advised there is a gold truck and black car sitting at his brother’s residence. Stated that no one is supposed to be home.Third party info from the sister. RP also stated he has not spoken to his brother today regarding the matter. -Mark Choate responded.
11:46 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of S. 4712 Rd. RP advised she has went off into the ditch and her vehicle is about to tip over. -Allen Ramey and Austin Blackfox responded.
12/23/22
12:31 p.m.- Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd. RP advised a few weeks ago a deputy came out because he was having trouble with a family member. He lives in a building on their property, but he is not on the lease. He is cussing and raising cain with everyone and threatening to kill another family member. He does not have any weapons that he knows of. He didn’t want anyone to come out, just speak to a deputy by phone and let him know what he can do about getting him out. -Jeremy Day spoke to party via phone.
3:26 p.m.- Assist- In the vicinity of S. 4792 Rd. RP advised he has taken an edible and wants EMS because he does not feel right. He called back and advised he has taken Narcan and no longer wants an ambulance. He called a third time and advised he is not feeling right and needs EMS. -Jeremy Day responded.
7:11 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4770 Rd. RP advised his ex-girlfriend who lives at his residence may have a warrant out of Arkansas and he would like to speak with a deputy. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
7:50 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd. RP advised a family member is outside in a camper with no heat refusing to come inside. RP would like to know if there is anything he can do. -Allen Ramey and Jeff Neighbors responded.
12/24/22
3:59 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of E. 1080 Rd. RP advised a subject had come to his residence and attacked RP with a frying pan and broke a camera,TV and other items. RP advised subject came in while he was home.The incident took place about 45 minutes ago. -Daniel Whitus responded.
4:34 p.m.- In the vicinity of S.
4806 Rd. RP advised her neighbor across the road acts strange and she is scared of him. He keeps shooting out his back door and windows at nothing. -Galen Irvin responded.
5:16 p.m.- Harassment- In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd. RP advised her neighbor for the past few days, she has started to mess with her company and had them kicked off the property for no reason. -Jeremy Day spoke to party via phone.
7:03 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of Pier 7. RP advised a female came in the store and asked for the employee to call the police because her daughter is screaming and tearing her up. While on the phone with the store employee, the female can be heard screaming and the RP advised she was kicking seats in the car. -Cody Parkerson responded.
10:36 p.m.- Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of N. McConnell Met with RP that advised he loaned his vehicle to someone and they have not returned it. -Vian PD responded.
12/25/22
6:30 a.m.- Breaking and Entering- Pier 7. RP advised when she arrived at work this morning it appeared as though someone had tried to break In during the night. -Daniel Whitus took this report.
2:01 p.m.- Assault/Weapon- In the vicinity of S. 4612 Rd. RP advised that someone has stabbed his brother in the hip. Parties are separated at this time. RP stated the male will need EMS. -Galen Irvin responded to this call.
8:07 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Hwy. 141. RP would like to make a report of the catalytic converter being cut off his vehicle. -Cody Parkerson spoke to party via phone.
11:32 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of E. 1005 Rd. RP advised he is inTulsa doordashing and he received a notification that his airpods, that are locked in his truck at his residence in Marble City, have been activated. RP advised that means someone has broken into his truck and could be in his house. -Charles Webber and Cody Parkerson responded.
