Creamy Sausage Stroganoff
1lb. smoked sausage
1lb. smoked sausage
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder ¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper
1 packet dry onion soup mix
4 cups chicken broth
8oz block cream cheese
16oz bag egg noodles ½ cup sour cream In large sauce pan, brown sausage over medium high heat. Add dry soup mix and spices and stir to coat. Add broth and scrape bottom of pan to deglaze. Add egg noodles to pan and stir to coat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cover. Simmer 10-12 minutes or until noodles are done. Add cream cheese and stir until it starts to melt. If it’s too thick, add milk or heavy cream to thin. Stir in sour cream and serve, top with Parmesan and parsley if desired. So easy!
