Police Logs 12/26/2022 to 01/02/2023

During the week of Dec.

26, 2022, to Jan. 2, 2023. Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 8 animal calls and 78 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls, according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

12/26/22

12:41 a.m. – Domestic. In the vicinity of South 4760 Road, RP advised that she witnessed her intoxicated mother attack her sister. She has scratches on her face and neck, a nose bleed and a knot on her head. She does not need EMS. RP and another subject are at the grandparents’ house, and the mother is at her residence. Jeff Neighbors responded.

11:25 a.m. — Speak with Deputy. RP advised that her neighbors behind her back pasture throw beer bottles into their pasture, and their trash is always on the pasture and they are afraid their cows are going to eat it. Information given to Shane Petree.

12:11 p.m. — Stolen property. RP advised that he had a catalytic converter stolen from his car and needs to make a report. Brian Stone took this report.

10:47 p.m. — Complaint.

In the vicinity of East 1060 Road, RP advised somewhere to the west of him someone is shooting loud guns. Allen Ramey was given this info.

12/27/22

12:04 a.m. — Domestic.

Roland PD called and advised that one of their dispatchers was involved in a domestic altercation, and they need county to take it over.The female has bruising on her face, and she said she was headbutted. The male subject admitted to headbutting her, and he was arrested. Allen Ramey made an arrest.

10:25 a.m. — In the vicinity of South 4801 Road, RP advised she needs a deputy to come and take a report on a scam.Yesterday she was on Craigslist trying to buy a shed, and they said she had to pay half down, and she cash apped them half the money. She is now wanting to file a report. She already filed a report with the county in which the company stated it was from. Brian Stone responded.

11:15 a.m. — Speak with Deputy. In the vicinity of East 4705 Road, RP advised there was an altercation last night and she went to jail, but she is out now and wants to know if she can go back to her residence, because the deputy last night told her they would have to evict her. At 11:36 a.m., RP called and advised that she and another subject were verbally fighting. Brian Stone responded.

11:34 a.m. — Suspicious Person. In the vicinity of Roberts Salvage, RP advised that a male that they had pictures of stealing things from the lot signed in today to go look through the lot. Cody Parkerson responded.

1:52 p.m. — Stolen Property. In the vicinity of Risley Ranch, RP advised that their game cameras caught a man stealing her saddles, and when her nephew went to check on the property, he walked the fence line and found the saddle and where they had cut the fence.Their trucks will not start.The game camera saw a man and two horses. Shane Petree responded.

8:36 p.m. — Suspicious Person. In the vicinity of Pier 7, RP advised that a 2000s model S10 Blazer silver in color has been sitting backed up by their ice machine for four hours, driven by a male subject, unknown name. RP stated they have had issues with people trying to sneak in recently. Male party in vehicle stated that he is waiting on a wrecker. Mark Choate responded.

12/28/22

1:27 a.m. — Assist. In the vicinity of Blue Ribbon Inn, Sallisaw PD advised they have an officer hands on with a male subject, and their dispatch cannot get a 90 out of them.

9:27 a.m. — Child. In the vicinity of South 4705 Road, RP has an emergency PO against her son and daughter-in-law, and she is wanting a deputy to go with her to get her two grandchildren from the mother since they are on the PO. Galen Irvin responded.

10:20 a.m. — In the vicinity of Highway 64, RP from Indianapolis says the male that she was riding with threw her out of a moving vehicle at this location. She will be waiting at gas station. RP is dressed in black. Galen Irvin responded.

12:11 p.m. —Trash Dumping. In the vicinity of Highway 64, RP advised that her neighbor’s trash is blowing on to her property and she is scared that her cows might get ahold of it and die. Jeremy Day spoke to RP via phone call.

12:36 p.m. — 10-21 phone call. RP advised that a vehicle he used to own was towed on the 25th, and he was wondering what all he needs to do to get it out of impound. He stated that he was selling the vehicle and it wasn’t paid off. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:04 p.m. — Stolen Property. In the vicinity of East Lake Hills, RP advised that he bought some property at East Lake Hills and his neighbor just called him stating that there is a white truck loading up his firewood. Jeremy Day was given this information.

4:53 p.m. — Other. In the vicinity of East 1100 Road, RP advised that the front door to the property across from her appears to be slightly open. Requesting a deputy to check it out. Stated that she does not know if anyone still lives there or not. Galen Irvin responded.

9:07 p.m. — Speak with Deputy. In the vicinity of East 1117 Road, RP advised that around 7:00, a repo company had come and picked up her vehicle. Stated that she is not behind on payments. Requesting to speak to a deputy about what can be done. Jeff Neighbors responded.

12/29/22

8:08 a.m. — In the vicinity of South 4445 Road, River Valley Recovery doing a repo on a 2014 Chevy truck white, and he has a gun and is shooting tires out of the repo truck. 8:18 a.m., the homeowner has shut and locked the gate. 8:20 a.m., RP is trying to take the tires off of his truck at this time. Galen Irvin, Jeremy Day, and Daniel Whitus responded.

10:20 a.m. — Stolen Vehicle. In the vicinity of 1107 Road and 4612 Road, RP advised that they have two vehicles in our county that they have reported stolen. Two vehicles from them and put a deposit on the vehicles, but never paid a payment and the company repoed the vehicles with their set of keys and has taken the vehicles back off the lot and is hiding them in Wildhorse Estates. Galen Irvin responded.

2:20 p.m. — Suspicious Vehicle. RP advised that there is a white Jeep with boat trailer parked between the bridges on Highway 64. She stated that it has been there for a week or else they put their boat in early in the morning and stay late at night. Jeremy Day responded.

2:56 p.m. — Speak with Deputy. In the vicinity of Brushy Mountain, RP advised someone tied wire around his tree on his side of the fence and he would like to speak with a deputy. Daniel Whitus responded.

9:30 p.m. — Speak with Deputy. In the vicinity of East 1005 Road, RP advised that he is a felon and found a gun inside the residence he is staying at. Would like to speak with a deputy. Cody Parkerson responded.

12/30/22

9:29 a.m. — Roberts Pick-APart, RP advised that they have been broken in to and they are needing to file a report. Roger Johnson responded.

10:41 a.m. — Vandalism.

In the vicinity of East 1000 Road, RP advised that her daughter was at her house and she became altered and began throwing things and breaking things. Shane Petree made an arrest.

1:12 p.m. —Threats. In the vicinity of East 1040 Road, RP advised that his son left him a threatening voicemail on his phone and he wants a deputy to come listen to the voicemail. Shane Petree responded.

3:52 p.m. — Property Dispute. In the vicinity of East 1040 Road, RP advised his wife has been staying on the property that belongs to his father in a camper while he is away working in Missouri. He advised his father is refusing to give some of his property to his wife. He also advised if his father does not hand over the property, then he will harm him when he gets back. Brian Stone responded.

6:53 p.m. — Domestic. In the vicinity of Highway 100, RP advised her ex-husband showed up on her property and started fighting with her current boyfriend. He has now left the property in a white Jeep Cherokee, unknown direction of travel. Unknown if he has any weapons. Mark Choate responded.

10:54 p.m. — Suspicious Person. In the vicinity of South 4770 Road, older model white Ford truck is In the middle of the roadway parked.There are people inside and they have almost been hit several times. Austin Blackfox responded.

12/31/22

9:47 p.m. — Child. In the vicinity of Sallisaw McDonalds, RP advised that her cousin and his girlfriend were living with her inTexas and got kicked out and moved back to Sallisaw. Subject gave permission for her child to stay with the cousin in Texas, and this morning the subject sent her a text stating that she better return the child today or she is going to press charges on her for kidnapping.The child exchange took place at Sallisaw McDonalds a couple weeks ago.The RP called back, stated that she is headed to Sallisaw from Texas to return the child to the mother and it will happen at the SO. Shane Petree responded.

4:59 p.m. — Disturbance.

In the vicinity of South 4720 Road, RP stated that his neighbor threatened him, and he has the evidence on tape. Requesting a deputy. Suspect has left and gone home. Andrew Edwards and Herb Hutchinson responded.

10:11 p.m. — Domestic.

In the vicinity of Highway 59, RP advised she was dropping her child off to the father and when she arrived, there was a lot of people there under the influence of drugs and she and the subject began fighting and she would like to make a report. Austin Blackfox responded.

1/01/23

3:00 a.m. — Assault. In the vicinity of Highway 101, RP advised she has been assaulted and her sister has stolen her $1,000 purse. She is on foot in a blackcheckered top and cheetah print dress. Allen Ramey, Brian Rutherford, Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded.

1:01 p.m. — Speak with Deputy. RP wants to speak with a deputy. He has questions regarding the legal age for children to be left home alone. Brian Stone responded.

1:03 p.m. — Assault. In the vicinity of Muldrow Bottoms, RP advised she went camping with her boyfriend last night.They got in an argument while they were camping. She advised during the argument he picked her up by her hair and her legs and threw her on the ground. He then grabbed her by her throat and continued to assault her. She advised he lives in the residence with her on 64B, and she does not feel safe with him there and she would like to meet a deputy at the office to make a report. Roger Johnson responded.

5:05 p.m. — Breaking and Entering. In the vicinity of South 4523 Road, RP advised that she just showed up to her property and her door has been kicked in. She stated that no one lives there, but she was just there a few days ago and everything was fine. Daniel Whitus took this report.

9:38 p.m. — Prowler. In the vicinity of South 4523 Road, RP advised she has heard noises outside like someone is prowling around, and her dogs are barking and staying by the door. She advised that she was told there is a homeless person that has been in the area. Mark Choate responded.

1/02/23

1:22 a.m. — Prowler. In the vicinity of East 953 Road, RP advised she has heard people outside her residence the last few nights, and tonight when taking her dog out, the dog alerted her to the shop behind the residence. RP advised there is a male and female in the building and they have pulled the peg board from the wall and they are hiding in the wall. Austin Blackfox, Mark Choate and Allen Ramey responded.

10:25 a.m. — Stolen Property. RP advised that he ordered a flashlight off of Amazon and his phone said it had been delivered on their porch and he asked his neighbors, and no one has seen his package. RP said he requested Amazon to not leave it on the porch unattended and that it needed to be signed for. When he got home after it showed it was delivered, the package was not there. Daniel Whitus responded.

1:49 p.m. — Suspicious Person. In the vicinity of East 953 Road, RP advised that there is a female wearing blue jeans and a short-sleeved black shirt with long black hair and no shoes is standing in their neighbor’s yard talking to herself.They believe she may be on drugs and want her checked out. RP advised she may be 30s 40s, no teeth. RP’s stepson went and spoke with the female, and the female advised she was looking for a subject and that she hated a subject and was talking out of her head. Jeremy Day responded.

2:17 p.m. — Domestic. In the vicinity of Highway 64, RP advised that he wants a subject removed from his property. He is tired of the fighting and arguing with her. Dispatch can hear them screaming back and forth. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:22 p.m. — Other. In the vicinity of East 966 Road, RP advised that a guy that lives on the same road as him throws stuff at his truck and puts stuff out in front of him while he’s driving. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:57 p.m. —Threats. RP called from a disconnected cell. Advised she lived at the top of the hill in Marble City and that her husband was going to kill her before the phone disconnected.

5:59 p.m. — Shooting Firearms. In the vicinity of South 4640 Road, RP advised there is someone shooting what sounds like a fully automatic rifle north of her residence. Cody Parkerson responded.

10:06 p.m. — Other. RP advised he picked up his mother from SCDS and was taking her home. Advised she was “wigging out” on him. RP advised he was going to drop her off at McQuicks, advised she would possibly be walking home from there. Charles Webber and Cody Parkerson responded.
