Two Precincts closed for Gore Board of Education Primary
Gore School District I-6 has opted to close Precinct 203-McKey Baptist Church and Precinct 208-Blackgum Community Center, for the upcoming Board of Education Primary, according to Sequoyah County Election Board Secretary Cindy Osborn.

According to a press release issued by the Election Board office, closing the polling place will reduce the overall cost of the election for the district.
Any registered voter in precinct 203 or 208 will be receiving a letter from the election board.
“If you believe you reside in the Gore School District I-6, we urge you to contact the Election Board office immediately,” Osborn said.
The Sequoyah County Election Board office is located at 110 Creek Ave. in Sallisaw and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
