During the week of Jan. 9 to Jan. 16, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 12 animal calls, 108 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:
01/09/23
12: 09 p.m.- Shooting Firearms- In the vicinity of Hwy. 141, RP advised her neighbors are shooting firearms by the fence where their property line meets. The neighbor across from the people shooting told RP they are not shooting at the fire range, they are shooting towards her house and she has children outside. -Jeremy Day responded.
12:50 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of 64B, Muldrow PD advised of a vehicle that was possibly 88 and had stopped at the Dollar General in Muldrow on 64B and went inside. An employee told Muldrow that they seemed to be 88 walking in as well. Muldrow advised dispatch a trooper was possibly looking for it. -Roger Johnson responded.
6:00 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4615 Rd, RP advised a subject and one other was in a white Dodge single cab pickup and now they are walking in the woods and nobody wants them on their property. He said it’s a small, narrow dead end. -Shane Petree, Allen Ramey, Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded.
11:03 p.m.- Medical- In the vicinity of W. Devron, 43-year-old female believes she is pregnant and about to give birth. She does not know how far along she is because she has not been to the OBGYN. -Austin Blackfox responded.

12:47 a.m.- Altercation- In the vicinity of W. Chickasaw Ave, Rp advised a subject is at his residence demanding things and they had a verbal altercation. He is wearing camo and riding a bike. RP advised he does have a gun inside his residence and will shoot him if he doesn’t leave. -Austin Blackfox, Allen Ramey, Mark Choate and Colton Goff responded.
3:06 a.m.- Altercation- In the vicinity of W. Chickasaw, RP advised a male subject was back at his residence banging on the door with something in his hand. Male subject did make entry into the residence with an axe. He has again left the residence north through the woods in a black hoodie and there is a dog with him. -Austin Blackfox, Mark Choate and Allen Ramey responded.
1:39 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of E. 1107 Rd, RP advised a mother is wanting her son to leave the residence. Mom called back and advised the male has left the residence and a deputy is no longer needed. -Daniel Whitus and Shane Petree responded.
3:57 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP was served a PO today and not able to get his belongings from the residence and is wanting to know how he can go about getting them. -Daniel Whitus responded.
10:08 p.m.- Assist- In the vicinity of I-40 299-300,fFemale called 911 from a disconnected number and advised she has a flat tire and no spare. OHP advised they do not have a unit available and are requesting a Vian unit check on her. -Vian PD responded.

12:33 a.m.- Assist- In the vicinity of JT Stites, Sallisaw PD advised a subject has pulled a gun on another tenant. PD is requesting a deputy to assist. -Allen Ramey, Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded.
12:38 a.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of W. Devron, EMS is on scene with a subject. He is being irate and they are requesting a deputy. -Mark Choate made an arrest.
4:34 a.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Pier 7, RP advised the store is closed but there is a male subject walking around outside and he keeps trying to come into the store. He has blonde hair, wearing a camo jacket, yellow shirt and blue jeans. -Allen Ramey responded.
8:18 a.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4545 Rd, RP advised that last night someone in a face mask came on her property, ripped her camera off and dumped it in the creek. She stated they live in Moore and will be back to this residence on Thursday. She stated she would like for a deputy to go check the residence and she will call to make a report when she comes in this weekend. -Jeremy Day responded.
10:19 a.m.- Information- In the vicinity of S. 4471 Rd, RP’s phone was stolen Saturday from Walmart in Sallisaw and she got her replacement phone yesterday. She was able to get on her iCloud account and the phone is now showing to be in Gore. The RP is at work in Stigler. -Jeremy Day responded.
1:06 p.m.- Sig 87/88, In the vicinity of 4630 Rd, RP advised there is a male subject who has wrecked in the ditch, silver truck. -Daniel Whitus responded.
2:25 p.m.- 10-21 Phone Call In the vicinity of S. 4650 Rd, RP advised a subject was kicked out of Central School and he was trying to get his GED. The school called to tell him if he didn’t come back to school they were going to put a warrant out for his arrest. He got kicked out due to a PO. -Kenny Graham responded.
2:25 p.m.- Assault- RP advised that her and another subject are living under the Moffett Bridge and someone assaulted them with an ax, and was trying steal their copper. They also stole her phones. Moffett Stock Yard Bridge. -Jeremy Day responded.
5:30 p.m.- Threats- RP advised he cut across from 17 to Hwy. 59, silver pickup was coming with no headlights. Driver was an older male, no clothing description. Got out, brandished a firearm but did not point it. Pickup was last seen going towards Sallisaw on Hwy. 59. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
5:55 p.m.- Welfare Check- RP advised he turned by Dollar General headed west and a female was sitting by the fence. RP said he stopped and talked to her, but she didn’t respond. RP advised she was wearing all dark clothes. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
8:27 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of W. Devron, RP advised he was staying at this residence and got kicked out last night and now they won’t let him get his things or his dog. -Charles Webber responded.
10:20 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4792 Rd, RP advised two subjects at his residence. RP advised there is a female at his house. RP advised he was leaving and if something happened to his residence, there would be hell to pay. RP advised he has been drinking. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

12:45 a.m.- 10-21 phone call-In the vicinity of S. 4792 Rd, RP wants to know what he can do about people harassing him on Facebook. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
8:00 a.m.- Child- In the vicinity of E. 1086 Rd, RP advised that her son is acting out and she is wanting a deputy to come speak to him. She stated that she doesn’t want her son to become a Sequoyah County thug. -Daniel Whitus responded.
9:44 a.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of Moffett Ascot Park, RP’s tractor broke on Sunday and someone has filled the oil tank full of dirt and he is needing to file a police report. -Daniel Whitus responded.
10:35 a.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4446 Rd, RP advised that two subjects was on her property in a Ford Explorer with stickers and a busted passenger window glass. RP told them to get off of her property and they told her they were looking for truck parts. RP told them they were not looking for truck parts on their property and the RP told them again to get off her property. They left and the RP went driving around to make sure they were gone but she found them hanging out just down the road from her residence. She’s worried they are going to try and go back to her property. -Jeremy Day responded. 11:17 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP would like to speak with the deputy who ran a tag that came back to her name and vehicle. She advised she heard her name and vehicle on the radio and would like to know why. -Daniel Whitus responded.
1:02 p.m.- Property Dispute-In the vicinity of S. 4545 Rd, RP advised she is going through a separation and her ex has another woman staying in the residence, and the female is claiming the RP’s property as her own. RP advised the ex husband took her kids from school Friday and she said she does not want the children around her. -Shane Petree and Jeremy Day responded.
5:24 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of Moffett Stock Yards, RP stated a male in a green shirt and pink slippers is on the property refusing to leave. The subject has been advised by RP to leave the property several times. -Jeff Neighbors, Daniel Whitus, Josh Smith, Charles Webber and Galen Irvin responded.
9:10 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1125 Rd, RP advised about an hour ago her daughter found people in their barn. She said she thought they got in a white Lincoln Aviator. -Randy Taylor responded.

9:55 a.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of I-40 between Vian and Sallisaw westbound, driving down interstate a couple days ago and was shot at. Didn’t realize it at the time, just thought it was a rock that hit her windshield. Later found the bullet lodged in her car hood. It is a company car, and the company wants her to make a report for their insurance. -Shane Petree responded.
1:23 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101, RP advised his soon to be ex-wife is talking out of her head and he’s requesting a welfare check because of the way she is talking. -Roger Johnson responded.
1:52 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59, RP advised he is needing to file a report of threats of someone who has 918 tattooed on his neck. -Shane Petree responded.
3:10 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Finish Line, RP advised she is trying to take him back to the shop where he lives but his sister is there, and she is telling the RP if they show up she will fight her. -Roger Johnson responded.
4:50 p.m.- Stolen Property In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd, RP has had an impact gun stolen out of his truck sometime last weekend and would like to make a report. -Allen Ramey responded.
5:02 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1130 Rd, RP advised one of his longtime friends has been very sick and he feels she is giving up. She refuses to eat or drink, and is refusing medical treatment. He would like to know what he can do about it. -Roger Johnson spoke to party via phone.
5:33 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4549 Rd, RP has just gotten home from Tulsa and someone has vandalized her residence. She would like to make a report. I advised her it would be after shift change. -Mark Choate responded.
6:42 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64b, RP advised there is a male subject in an older model truck blocking her driveway. He asked her for money and when she refused, he advised he would not be leaving until she gives him money. -Allen Ramey and Roger Johnson responded.
9:40 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of S, 4806 Rd, RP advised her husband went into the woods to look for a male that was possibly on the property with a flashlight. That was 20 minutes ago and she has not heard from her husband since and is concerned. -Allen Ramey responded.
10:38 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1023 Rd, RP would like to make a report of someone running over her mailbox. She advised she does have the event on video. -Mark Choate responded.
1/14/23
7:01 a.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4437 Rd., RP advised that a subject was at the residence and he has been trespassed. He is wearing a brown jacket and jeans. -Shane Petree made an arrest.
11:55 a.m.- Other- In the vicinity of Devron St., RP advised that they had a roommate and they kicked her out but some of her property is there and wants a deputy to take it to her. -Shane Petree was given this information.
3:35 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1120 Rd, RP advised when she went to check her mail this morning her neighbor started screaming at her and making obscene gestures, while accusing her of shooting his dog. RP advised he is unstable and has firearms when he is not supposed to, and she would like to speak with a deputy. -Roger Johnson responded.
5:41 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of 59, RP advised she lives across from the VFW and she has heard a loud explosion. She would like a deputy to drive out the area. -Shane Petree responded.
1/15/22
12:04 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of Old Dump Road, RP advised that he hit a deer and is going to have to shoot it. -Allen Ramey responded.
1:50 a.m.- Medical- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd, RP advised his wife has taken Midol, Xanax and something herbal and is having a bad reaction to it. -Allen Ramey responded.
3:44 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Subway, RP advised a female came into the store and was very upset about something. She left the store and is walking north on 82, wearing grey leggings and a pink shirt. -Vian PD responded.
3:57 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd, RP advised a subject is walking in the area carrying guns and believes he is a convicted felon, and that deputies have been looking for him. He is walking south toward Anglen Grocery, wearing black sweats, no shirt and a backpack. -Roger Johnson responded.
6:36 p.m.- Other- RP wants to speak with 809. Said she spoke with a subject and was told to call and speak with 809 about a report, and that she wanted it turned over to the D.A. 809 spoke with her by 10-21 and went to her residence in Gans, and when he arrived there to pick up a statement from her, she advised she is too tired to fill it out right now. -Allen Ramey responded. 1/16/23
9:23 a.m.- Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4563 Rd, RP advised the water department was working on a line on his property, took down his fence and has not put it back up, and his cows are getting out. He wants to make a report of it so if a cow gets hit, he knows who to contact for the expenses. -Daniel Whitus responded.
11:00 a.m.- Mental Health- In the vicinity of S. 4580 Rd, RP advised a family member was in a frantic mood and started setting papers on the stove and catching them on fire. He is altered and not acting right. RP believes the family member has been diagnosed with schizophrenic manic depression and is bipolar. -Daniel Whitus and Galen Irvin responded.
2:26 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP advised a subject has been walking around Nicut with a shot gun. -Galen Irvin responded.
4:04 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of I-40, RP advised a red Dodge had cut her off and was hitting their brakes. RP advised the driver threw his hands up and was pointing a gun at them. -Vian PD, Daniel Whitus and Randy Taylor responded.
9:18 p.m.- In the vicinity of E. 1125 Rd, RP advised there are several people on her property. Stated that her daughter had seen them and advised her to call us. -Charles Webber responded.
9:18 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1140 Rd, RP advised his grandparents’ house burned down last night and there should be no one there. He believes he is hearing some sort of machine running at the residence and wants a deputy to make sure no one is trying to steal anything. -Randy Taylor responded.
9:48 p.m.- Speak with deputy- In the vicinity of N. Bonham, RP advised they had a family disagreement at the aunt’s house. RP advised 17-year-old slapped her across her face. RP is afraid they’re going to vandalize her car. -Vian PD responded.
