Teen perishes in collision north of Muldrow
A Fort Smith, Ark. teen has died as a result of injuries sustained in a collision that occurred last Wednesday north of Muldrow.
A Fort Smith, Ark. teen has died as a result of injuries sustained in a collision that occurred last Wednesday north of Muldrow.
Oklahoma Highway Patrolman Brice Earls reported Shilah Carrillo, 18, was traveling on Hwy. 101 one-quarter of a mile south of 4749 Road in a 2001 Toyota Tacoma when she departed the roadway to the right for unknown reasons.
According to the accident report, Carrillo’s pickup then struck a bridge before rolling one-half times onto its top and coming to a rest off the roadway.
Earls said the cause of the collision remains under investigation as of press time, Monday.
