Vian Town Hall up for bid
According to a legal publication in this week’s issue, the trustees of the Town of Vian and Vian Public Works Authority have voted to surplus Lots 21, 22 & 23 Block 25, Original Town of Vian, more commonly known as Town Hall.
According to a legal publication in this week’s issue, the trustees of the Town of Vian and Vian Public Works Authority have voted to surplus Lots 21, 22 & 23 Block 25, Original Town of Vian, more commonly known as Town Hall.
Town Hall will start out at a minimum bid of $150,000.
Vian Town Administrator Keith Boshers said the property will be available for inspection by appointment only on Feb. 2 and 3, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Anyone interested in scheduling an inspection is asked to contact Town Hall at 918-773-8110.
All sealed bids must be turned in in-person to Town Hall at 107 S. Thornton Street in Vian, during normal business hours. All sealed bids must be received on or before 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10. Any bids received after time set for opening bids will not be considered and returned unopened. Please mark the sealed envelope with “Bid for Town Hall.”
The legal publication goes on to say that sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at 12 p.m. on Feb. 10, at Town Hall.
Boshers said the town will have the option to award or reject any bid.
