Police Logs 01/23/2023 to 01/30/23 During the week of Jan. 23 to Jan. 30, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to eight animal calls, 107 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. 1/23/23
9:30 a.m.- Stolen Vehicle-In the vicinity of Hwy. 10A, RP advised that her 32-year-old granddaughter stole her vehicle a week ago. -Shane Petree responded.
11:02 a.m.- Suspicious Person- Roland PD advised of a subject laying on the roadway with a blanket covering all but the subject’s feet. -Josh Smith responded.
12:53 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1000 Rd., RP advised a male is running around naked and come up on this guy’s porch. -Shane Petree, Colton Goff, Jeremy Day responded.
12:55 p.m.- Trespassing-RP is buying the old T&M Sand and gGravel, it is currently in probate court. RP states persons related to previous owner are taking items from the location and he is requesting to speak to a deputy. RP advised a deputy would call him. -Jeremy Day was given this information.
3:45 p.m.- Stolen Property-In the vicinity of E. 1001 Rd, RP advised he put a camera up on his tree to catch the person stealing his mail and medications, and he has footage of a male stealing the camera off the tree. -Jeremy Day took this report.
8:17 p.m.- Child- RP advised he’d like to speak to a deputy regarding some children that have been home alone since they have gotten home from school. -Mark Choate responded.
1/24/23
3:42 a.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4765 Rd, RP advised she can hear a female whistling and screaming for help near the camper next to her property. -Allen Ramey responded.
5:30 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of W. Deveron St., RP advised his girlfriend was staying at a residence in Sallisaw and while she was at the hospital, the people at the residence sold their vehicle. RP would like to speak with a deputy about what he can do. -Mark Choate advised it was civil.
11:36 a.m.- Suspicious Person- RP advised there is a 40-ish year old male, blue jeans and blue shirt, blood running down the face, headed towards Brushy School. -Shane Petree and Jeff Mooneyham responded.
2:57 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP advised she’d like to speak with a deputy on getting her ex trespassed from her home. She believes he may be stealing her propane and her dog. -Roger Johnson responded.
3:06 p.m.- Protective Order- In the vicinity of E. 1135 Rd, RP advised her ex is in our jail and he keeps calling her from the jail. She has an active PO against him and he keeps violating the order – Roger Johnson took this report.
8:02 p.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of Mayfield and Rodgers, RP advised her boyfriend was just stabbed by his uncle. She stated that it was non-fatal. RP was difficult to get information from. At 8:03 RP advised the uncle was trying to stab him again. Dispatch 10-33 at 8:03 p.m. -Vian PD, Allen Ramey, and Mark Choate made an arrest.

7:11 a.m.- Protective Order- In the vicinity of S. Bushyhead, RP advised she has a PO against the father of her children and they went to court yesterday and the judge did not care that the male subject had violated his PO last Friday. She would like to speak with an officer. -Vian PD responded.
11:18 a.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of S. 4710 Rd., RP advised a male subject came on her porch with a screwdriver in his hand, went around the back of her property and then went to the next house to sit in the driveway. She is wanting to make a report in case something comes up. She has a picture of the subject from her ring doorbell. -Galen Irvin responded.
2:39 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of 1020 Rd., RP advised UPS dropped off a package at his uncle’s house and refuses to give the package back. He is wanting to file a report, he will meet a deputy at Vian PD. -Jeremy Day responded.
6:38 p.m.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of Stacy Ave., RP advised his dad sold his four- wheeler, would like to know what could be done about it. -Josh Smith advised it was civil.
11:13 p.m.- Disturbance-V307 advised there was a fight in progress at Love’s in Vian. -Randy Taylor responded.

6:55 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Gore Laundry Mat, Rp advised someone stole all her clothes from the Gore Laundry Mat. The RP stated she’d left the clothes there for six hours. -Gore PD responded.
1:30 p.m.- Fraud- RP advised he has statements for a deputy to pick up for fraud charges on his bank account. -Galen Irvin responded.
3:22 p.m.- Stolen Property-In the vicinity of Deveron St., RP advised her roommate took her credit card and attempted to spend $400 at Walmart. -Jeremy Day responded.
10:15 p.m.- Harassing Phone Calls- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64. RP advised he has gotten a suspicious looking message, possible scam. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
10:40 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of S. 4624 Rd., RP advised his neighbor keeps parking his vehicles partially in the roadway, making it difficult to get up and down the county road. RP stated he has tried several times talking to the male subject to see if he would move them but has been unsuccessful. Would like a deputy to make contact with the subject. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
1/27/23
1:17 a.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64, RP advised she can hear someone talking outside her window but when she goes outside to check, there is no one there. She wants a deputy to check it out. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
2:45 a.m.- Assist- 61-yearold female advised she is sitting in her vehicle and the battery is dead. She is very cold and only has one leg, and just needs help getting into her residence. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
8:29 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of S. 4448 Rd., RP advised his neighbor came into his residence this morning and assaulted him, and now he is standing in his front yard with a knife hitting a piece of wood. Subject is wearing a brown hoodie with number 88 on it and a red beanie. -Shane Petree, Roger Johnson and Gore PD made an arrest.
9:18 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of S. 4710 Rd., RP texted 604 and advised her mom is threatening her with a baseball bat and hit her in the back. If she catches her on the phone, she will hit her again. She is asking for a deputy to come up and arrest her mom. -Roger Johnson and Brian Rutherford responded.
11:38 a.m.- Other- In the vicinity of E. 1040 Rd., RP advised her daughter, mother and stepdad need to make a report to be turned over to Homeland Security. -Roger Johnson responded.
11:16 p.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of S. Bushyhead, RP called Vian cell phone reported a prowler at address. -Vian PD responded.
1/28/23
2:23 a.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of 1090 Rd., RP advised he heard two shots fired in the area, does not want contact but would like the area driven out. -Allen Ramey responded.
7:38 p.m.- Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4610 Rd., RP advised his neighbor has shot something that he believes to be a cannon over his residence.
He would like a deputy to make contact with him. Other RP’s in the area have also called about a loud explosion. They do not want contact, they just would like the area driven out. -Austin Blackfox responded.
11:07 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of W. Deveron St., RP advised she was selling a vehicle to an individual on a payment plan. He has not finished paying for the vehicle but is stating he has a notarized bill of sale. Would like to speak with a deputy. -Austin Blackfox advised it was civil.
1:10 p.m.- Follow Up- RP advised he had an employee steal and use one of his checks at WW Grocery. RP will be meeting the deputy there. -Roger Johnson took this report.
3:35 p.m.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of S. 4630 Rd., RP advised her ex has taken her gun and is refusing to give it back. RP has allowed the male subject to reside at her residence. -Shane Petree advised it was civil.
7:43 p.m.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of Ray Fine Blvd., RP advised she and her husband own this business and she can’t get in due to the gate being locked, and she believes an employee has locked it. -Allen Ramey Responded.

1:57 a.m.- Welfare Check-In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd., RP advised an older lady has been sitting near his driveway every night for a couple of weeks now and the other day she was out there crying, stating she has lost her husband. She is back out there and the RP wants a welfare check done on her. -Austin Blackfox responded.
