Roland Middle School hosted their first-ever Valentine social etiquette dinner on Valentine’s Day.
Roland Middle School hosted its first-ever Valentine social etiquette dinner on Valentine’s Day.
With almost 100 students in attendance, it ended up being more successful than expected.
The school said it hopes it was a wonderful experience from which students learned, as well as enjoyed. The school is currently working on making prints for students at no charge.
The school is especially thankful to Dr. Molly Brant for instructing students on proper etiquette throughout the dinner; as well as appreciation to Mrs. Colwell, Mrs. Huggins, Ms. Roberts and Ms. Upchurch for the long hours they put into organizing, preparing, decorating, cooking and everything else that went into this event, and to middle school teachers Mrs. Armer, Mrs. Boswell, Ms. Floyd, Mr. Greer, Mrs. Hamlin and Mrs. Sutterfield for volunteering their time to help out with everything needed.
The school also appreciates the school’s secretary for taking pictures, as well as members of Zion Missionary Baptist Church for selflessly volunteering their time on Valentine’s Day for the students.
