02/27/2023 to 03/05/2023 During the week of Feb. 27 to March 5, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to six animal calls, 80 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

02/27/2023 to 03/05/2023 During the week of Feb. 27 to March 5, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to six animal calls, 80 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

2/27/23

12:55 p.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of E. 979 Rd. RP advised another party went crazy and punched her in the face. -Daniel Whitus responded.

5:55 p.m.- Domestic- In the vicinity of E. 979 Rd. RP advised her daughter-in-law threw orange juice at her and broke her phone. They are now separated, unknown if any weapons in the home. -Charles Webber responded.

7:00 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of 64. RP advised there is a residence he believes is growing marijuana on the south side of 64 west, Vian. He stated the smell gives him a headache and he’d like to speak to someone about it. -Allen Ramey advised it was civil.

8:20 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4627 Rd. RP advised she now lives in Dallas, Texas, but she still owns the residence on 4627 Rd. Her mother advised that it has been broken into and some of the property stolen. RP would like to speak to a deputy to see what she needs to do since she is in Dallas. -Jeff Neighbors spoke to party via phone.

2/28/23

8:55 a.m.- Information- In the vicinity of Eichling St. RP advised a man had moved out of an apartment and there has been two homeless females staying in the house. They went back towards the woods, she stated this is the third time she has ran them off.

-Gore PD responded.

11:34 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4610 Rd. RP is the manager of Polycor in Marble City and they discovered their building was broken into and they took cable out of it. They have video of the people. -Daniel Whitus responded.

1:12 pm.- Other- RP advised he just saw a guy park his truck by the pool and put on a backpack. He had a gun walking towards the Roland School, male subject was wearing green shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap. -Galen Irvin responded.

2:10 p.m.- Trespassing- RP advised there are cell tower workers working behind his property and they’re trespassing onto his property. -Daniel Whitus responded.

8:10 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of the Dam and Tenkiller. RP wants to speak with a deputy about times for disturbing the peace. -Charles Webber was given this information.

3/1/23

7:56 a.m.- 10-21 Phone Call- In the vicinity of S. 4765 Rd. RP advised he is buying a house in Nicut and is dealing with a squatter. He is wanting to know what steps he needs to take. -Austin Blackfox responded.

12:00 p.m.- Information- 816 advised if we had any reports of a suspicious vehicle driving around the Gans area. Will be a white Ford Explorer, it is just the census workers. -Randy Taylor responded.

2:56 p.m.- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd. RP advised her neighbor across from her is shooting and she wants a deputy to go see what they are shooting at. She stated they aren’t shooting towards the back of the property or at a target. 814 is out at the residence across the street. -Steven Edwards responded.

3/2/23

7:10 a.m.- Fraud- RP states his ex-wife has been committing fraud against him and he has proof and wants to file charges against her. -Austin Blackfox responded.

4:30 p.m. – Child- In the vicinity of E. 1056 Rd. RP wants to speak with a deputy about custody and also says her ex is trying to sell weed. -Steven Edwards responded.

5:27 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle Orange SUV swerving all over the road. Also going the wrong direction, stopped near Joyce’s. -Shane Petree and Austin Blackfox made no contact.

3/3/23

3:34 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP advised on the 24th, she made a report because her wallet was stolen at the Dollar Store in Vian and she would like to speak with one of the officers to see what is being done. -Vian PD responded.

10:28 p.m.- Suspicious Person- At Gans Git-n-Go. Male subject, black pants and black hoodie, mullet type haircut, outside the store asking them to call a deputy. -Steven Edwards responded.

3/4/23

9:11 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1140 Rd. RP advised there is a male walking down the road yelling the name of someone who has passed away. He is walking east towards Fort Smith and is wearing brown jeans, black shirt with a cowboy hat. He is also carrying a bible. RP stated he looks to be in his mid 80’s. -Galen Irvin made an arrest.

11:45 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd. RP advised her son has taken her money and the keys to her vehicle and will not return them. She stated she feels like a prisoner in her own home and she’d like to make a report. RP is elderly with dementia, she advised her daughter is at the residence to assist her in making her report.

5:21 p.m.- Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of 4704 Rd. RP advised she is having issues with her neighbors screaming and harassing them. RP advised she wanted extra patrol. -Blakely Smith responded.

6:51 p.m.- Harassing Phone Calls In the vicinity of E. 1087 Rd. RP advised she’s been receiving messages from a subject stating that they need to leave a subject alone, wants medical records the RP doesn’t have. -Jeff Neighbors will follow up at a later time.

3/5/23

1:20 p.m.- 10-6 Busy- 805 out on 953 Rd. near Cato Creek with a vehicle in a ditch with tree on vehicle. He was not sure what had occurred. Checked vehicle and no one was around it. 805 advised he had cleared the roadway but the vehicle had signs of alcohol and blood in it. OHP was notified a second time with the new information. -Charles Webber responded.

8:32 a.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4666 Rd. RP advised there is a green King Ranch truck that was left in her yard overnight. She would like a deputy to come check on it. -Daniel Whitus responded.

8:33 a.m.- Shooting Firearms Unsafe- RP advised there is shooting in the area of Box Cemetery. They hit her windshield and damaged it, she would like to make a report. -Jeremy Day responded.

11:21 a.m.- Speak with Deputy Needs to speak with deputy regarding girlfriend unknowingly putting the generator in the house while they went to sleep. Then she went to casino, spent the night and came back at 9:00 and he was unresponsive by 10:15. The ambulance took him to Oklahoma City and he is in a chamber to get rid of poisoning. She’s not called to check on him and he wants the girlfriend evicted from the home on 64B.

11:37 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of S. 4490 Rd. Man laying on side of road in ditch. Did not stop, he is on west side of road. Jeans and black cut off shirt. -Jeremy Day responded.

2:38 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of the Sheriff’s Office. RP was stopped by 865 yesterday and he’d like to speak with someone regarding that stop. He is at the office. -Daniel Whitus responded.

2:52 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised she was at Bradley Ford and a male attempted to sexually assault her and was threatening her, stating he is an informant for the Sheriff’s Department. She advised he is in a maroon truck and has a big black dog with him. RP was able to get away, she is now at her grandma’s house to meet with a deputy and make a report. -Galen Irvin responded.

5:10 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4500 Rd. RP advised a male subject is on his property and he wants the male to leave the property but he is refusing. -Jeremy Day responded.

7:20 p.m.- Shooting Firearms Unsafe- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP advised her neighbors are shooting gun, has hit their house and still firing the weapons. -Charles Webber responded.

6:49 p.m.- Harassment- In the vicinity of S. 4500 Rd. RP advised the property owner came out and was shooting a firearm. He believes he is being intimidated and is in fear to go outside alone. -Charles Webber responded.

9:16 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised he was contacted by a subject who stated the mother of his daughter was kicked out of a residence. Mother went to pick up the female and an argument broke out, and she left the residence. They would like a welfare check on the child. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
