ICTC inducts students into National Technical Honor Society
Campus Director Nick Carter announced that 26 students have been inducted as new members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for 2022-2023 at the Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) Sallisaw campus on March 8. NTHS new members are as follows: Destry Bethel, Remington Brown, Destiny Bush, Dylan Campbell, Ford Campney, Ethan Dominic, Mikayla Fruendt, Hunter Gipson, Kaylin Harmon, Camdyn Johnson, Brooklyn Kelley, Blake Koeven, Emily Lor, Brandon Martinez, McKala Mathews, Mayra Najera Diaz, Janessa Peters, Pyper Petree, Xavier Regalado, Joanna Ross, Natalee Sanders, Makayla Shover, Kaylee Smith, Aleah Smith, Sierra Smithson and Allison Taylor.

Five alumni were recognized during the NTHS induction ceremony and are as follows: Sara Aragon, Emma Dean, Susan Greer, Brooke Heflin and Yasmine Mercado.
The National Technical Honor Society recognizes and honors outstanding student achievement in career and technical education and promotes educational excellence. Students must satisfy all of the following criteria to be eligible for this prestigious honor: (1) have an “A” grade average, (2) have no more than three unexcused absences during a semester, (3) be a member of his or her career tech student organization, and (4) be recommended by his or her instructor.
