During the March 14 regular monthly meeting of the Webbers Falls Board of Trustees, the trustees voted to rescind a $300 pay raise for trustees after approving the line item last month.

A motion was made by Robert Ross Jr. and seconded by Danny Haley to rescind the previous vote of doing a pay increase to $300 a month for town trustees.
The board also accepted the resignation of town trustee Meghan Johnson during their meeting.
Police Chief Wayne Cartwright went over his monthly report and updated the board on building and sign progress, while Fire Chief Shawn Smith reported the department had been out on one structure fire and two grass fires. Smith said there would also be four firefighters attending EMS classes and the Junior Firefighter Program is in the works of getting started up again, according to meeting minutes.
The trustees voted to table taking action on whether to accept or deny the HCA appraisal changes to be made to the town’s property insurance premiums until the next meeting.
Johnny Pollard was given the green light to finish the street project and Bill Tacket from OMAG gave governing body training to the board of trustees.
Auditor Sydney Kimball also presented the fiscal year 2022 audit to the board.
