The deadline for announcements for Wednesday’s edition is 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The deadline for announcements in Friday’s edition is 11 a.m. Thursday.

Your TIMES welcomes announcements and is pleased to publish them so that Sequoyah County residents can take advantage of the many activities occurring in the county.

Marble City Title VI Indian Education Parent Meeting, 8:15 a.m., school administration building. Meeting is to elect officers for the parent committee, approve/not approve Bylaws and Goals and Objectives. Meeting open to public.

SAT. APR. 1

Marble City Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt, 2 p.m.

Marble City School Football Field.

All-you-can-eat breakfast, 7 to 10 a.m., Masonic Lodge 120, 109 E. Redwood, Sallisaw.

Menu includes all you can eat pancakes, biscuits, gravy.

Adults $7, children 12 and under, $3.

Buffington Cemetery work day, 9 a.m. Volunteers needed.

AARP TaxAide, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesdays, Feb. 1 through April 12, First Christian Church, 706 N. Wheeler, Sallisaw. Service primarily for seniors and low to moderate income. For more information leave a message at 918-773-2496.

THURS, APR. 6 Gans Elementary pre-enrollment, 4 to 6 p.m., in rock building by main entrance. Parent must bring, birth certificate, updated shot record, Social Security Card, CDIB card. Child must be 3 for Pre-K 3, 4 for Pre-K4 and 5 for Kindergarten on or before Sept. 1.

Free crochet classes 2 to 4 p.m. at 3700 W. Cherokee Ave., Blue Ribbon Chapel, Sallisaw, with the Bizzy Beez. Classes held every Thursday.
