Members discuss Fun Day

By Billie Anthony

We had nine ladies weighed in this Monday. Billie had the best weight loss for the week with 4.2 pounds. Worked hard this week! Keeping up with the good work. We had a net loss of 5.6 pounds. The Two Bit Bowl name drawn was Donna. This week’s weekly contest prize went to Phyllis. Four ribbons were removed from the Surprise Box.

We discussed gathering items for our SRD Sports theme basket. We also discussed Fun Day in McAlester in May. We also discussed theme ideas for when we host a Fun Day in June 2024.

This Monday was our last weigh in of the month. Also, we make it a chapter fun day. Billie taught the group how to play a fun game of 7. It is a fun game for grandparents and grandchildren to play, or friends to learn to play and spend time visiting. We had eight ladies play, so since it was some of the ladies time to play, we all played with one deck of cards. We had fun visiting and taking turns trying to figure out what card to play. Annette ended up being our winner. We all had a fun time.

EVERYONE is invited to visit. The first visit is FREE. It cost $49 a year to join TOPS Club INC. We meet at First Christian Church, 706 N Wheeler, Sallisaw, Monday at 10:30am-12pm. We begin weighing at 10:30am and the meeting starts at 11am and ends at 12. For more info, please call Billie at 918/413-1383. We look forward to meeting you.
