Oklahoma Academy to perform spring concert in Sallisaw
The Oklahoma Academy choir and bell choir will perform a spring concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Sallisaw Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2080 W. Lenington Road.
The Christian musicians have performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Ireland, South America and Asia. Their focus is on providing uplifting music that helps bring “healing, joy and comfort to those who attend,” according to Claire Diaz-Henderson, music director for Oklahoma Academy.

“Our music program is surprisingly not focused on performance, but instead on the ministry of music.”
The program in Sallisaw will be an interactive “potpourri concert,” in which audience members have the opportunity to help choose the songs the performers will sing. All are invited to attend the concert.
