Residents waiting for the Easter bunny

By Annette Crowder

Hello again and welcome to another edition of the Vian Nursing Home News. Well spring has finally arrived and Easter is right around the corner. We have been busy nonstop making Easter Bunnies for the Operation Peter Cottontail baskets. So far we have made over a hundred and we still have more to make. A huge thank you to all of you that dropped off baskets, grass and plastic eggs. We so appreciate you and the kids will be thrilled I’m sure. We are so happy to be resuming this special event and this year we are partnering with the Vian PTO and are thrilled to have them join us.

Hello again and welcome to another edition of the Vian Nursing Home News. Well, spring has finally arrived and Easter is right around the corner.

In the spirit of Easter the residents will be taking pictures with the Easter bunny himself. How fun. Never a dull moment around here.

As the weather is getting warmer we have several outdoor events planned, such as a picnic at the gazebo in town, several walks about the neighborhood, a trip to Walmart and Central Mall. We may even take a trip to the casino, which they all enjoy. We want to enjoy the great outdoors as much as we can before it gets too hot. So if you see us out and about, give us a wave.

Well it’s about bingo time, so I’d best get moving. They do take their bingo seriously. So until next time…God bless…Annette.
