Carl Albert State College (CASC) has announced the launch of a new program, an Associates of Applied Science in Environmental Science Technology.

This program will provide students with the opportunity to learn about environmental science and technology in order to protect and manage our natural resources. The curriculum for this degree was designed with input from local industry leaders, so that graduates will be prepared for success in the workforce.

“We are proud to offer this new program and look forward to helping our students achieve their goals,” President Jay Falkner said.

The two-year degree offers a variety of hands-on learning opportunities, preparing graduates for successful careers protecting and managing our natural resources. Courses include topics such as environmental law & policy, water resources management, GIS mapping & analysis, and waste management. With Oklahoma’s economy continuing to grow in many industries related to environmental science, this degree is essential for anyone looking to start or advance their career in the field.
