03/27/2023 to 04/01/2023 During the week of March 27 to April 1, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 17 animal calls, 93 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

03/27/2023 to 04/01/2023 During the week of March 27 to April 1, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 17 animal calls, 93 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

3/27/23

3:43 a.m.– Traffic- In the vicinity of 64D. RP advised of a gold car off the roadway with a flat tire. RP advised there might be a child in the car but was not sure, and the RP could not turn around. Call was transferred to OHP. OHP argued it was not their call and deputy was made aware of a child possibly being in the vehicle. -Mark Choate, Allen Ramey and Duwaine Chase responded.

11:24 a.m.– Information- In the vicinity of S. 4523 Rd. RP has a driver that has been no call, no show for four weeks. The driver is in possession of their 2021 F-150, white in color. On the side of their vehicle it has a star that says neverending stars. They are wanting to know how they can go about getting the vehicle back without reporting it stolen. -Justin Deuley responded.

1:04 p.m.– Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4650 Rd. RP with advanced work zone advised a male wearing a grey T-shirt and driving a 2013 Dodge Ram drove the area, got out, threw feces at their vehicles, then left. At 1:09 the other party called and is requesting to speak with a deputy about the work crew leaving feces on his property. -Daniel Whitus responded.

5:56 p.m.– Drugs- RP is an employee at Gans Git-n-Go and she advised there is a bag of white powder on the floor and they are requesting a deputy to come pick it up. -Randy Taylor responded.

8:39 p.m.– Complaint- In the vicinity of S. 4477 Rd. RP advised west of Vian there is a residence that is possibly growing marijuana and she doesn’t like the smell when they burn brush at the residence. She advised she has spoken to other deputies regarding this but would like to speak to a deputy. -Charles Webber responded.

3/28/23

1:01 p.m.– Information- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised his step-brother came to his house two days ago and dropped off some things to have him watch. He was supposed to come back and get it later that day, didn’t show up until the next day and didn’t take all of his things. Now he is wanting to know what he can do with the rest of his brother’s things. -Galen Irvin responded.

5:25 p.m.– Complaint- In the vicinity of Lee Rd. RP advised some kids keep riding their dirt bikes and also complaining about the neighbors selling drugs. -Vian PD responded.

6:01 p.m.– Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4646 Rd. RP received a call from an individual stating there are two black males in a U-haul in the area acting suspicious. He advised if the deputy has any other questions, they can call him. -Cody Parkerson responded.

11:03 p.m.– Medical- In the vicinity of E. Lee St. RP stated a subject hit him in the face, head butted him and tore up the house. She then took off running down the road wearing a short T-shirt and one shoe. -Vian PD responded.

4:07 p.m.– Child- In the vicinity of E. 1082 Rd. RP advised they found a 2-year-old male in a blue shirt, no shoes, black pants, walking along the roadway. -Brian Stone responded.

7:08 p.m.– Speak with Deputy RP would like to speak with a deputy about her son. He may be shoplifting from the Dollar General on 64B. -Allen Ramey responded.

3/30/23

3:37 a.m.– Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1046 Rd. RP advised she owns the store in Moffett Bottoms and her clerk was trying to get in the store but there was a subject in the parking lot dancing around. The clerk was afraid to go inside. -Allen Ramey responded.

9:11 a.m.– Welfare check- In the vicinity of Dollar General. RP advised there is a male in dark clothing laying under the Dollar General sign on 64B. -Brian Stone responded.

10:17 p.m.– Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd. RP advised his ex-wife did not meet with him at Sallisaw PD at 6 p.m. to exchange their children for visitation. He is requesting a welfare check be done. -Allen Ramey responded.

4:17 p.m.– Complaint- Subject is walking south at the Marble City four-way carrying a shotgun. -Daniel Whitus responded.

6:18 p.m.– Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of S. 4670 Rd. RP advised her house was broken into, doorknob has been beaten and she’s missing a Nintendo switch. -Daniel Whitus took this report.

9:03 p.m.– Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd. RP advised she was arguing with her boyfriend and she was trying to leave the property. She stated when she was trying to leave, she accidentally ran over the male subject’s head and chest. He is awake and responsive at this time. -Cody Parkerson responded.

4/1/23

4:08 a.m.– Welfare Check- 813 was advised of someone walking in the center median of S. 59 with a flashlight. -Cody Parkerson responded.

7:26 a.m.– Threats- In the vicinity of E. 1040 Rd. RP advised his neighbor has been yelling threats at him when he walks to the store and he would like to make a report. -Justin Deuley responded.
