Muldrow boys 7th at Coweta meet

Lady Bulldogs 10th in girls’ division

COWETA — Muldrow’s high school track and field teams traveled to Wagoner County Friday for the Class 5A-and-below Coweta Tiger Track Meet, and the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs came away with seventh and 10th-place finishes, respectively, at the event.

Medaling for the Bulldogs (top 3) were:

Trenden Collins, first in the high jump, second in the 400m dash and third in the long jump; and

Zackery Parker, first in the long jump, second in the 100m dash and third in the 110m hurdles.

The Bulldogs registered 48 points, and host Coweta was the boys’ champion (171).

Earning medals for the Lady Bulldogs (22 points) were:

Carmen Fields, third in the discus; and

Katelynn Moore, third in the 3200m run.

Glenpool (123 points) won the girls’ division.

The Muldrow girls’ and boys’ teams are scheduled to attend the Hilldale meet on Friday, which gets underway at 10:30 a.m.
