Paint the town teal for survivors

Members of the Sequoyah County Coordinated Community Response/ Sexual Assault Response Team will be Painting the Town Teal, April 10 to 14.

Members of the Sequoyah County Coordinated Community Response/Sexual Assault Response Team will be Painting the Town Teal April 10-14.

To kick off this event from 5-7 p.m. April 10, members will be set up to window chalk your car window(s) with a teal-colored chalk ribbon, Sexual Assault Awareness logos, provide info about Sexual Assault Awareness Month and their team, and will also have resource materials available for victims/survivors of sexual assault.

Come by and support the victims/survivors of sexual assault. Be part of letting it be known Sexual Assault will not be tolerated in Sequoyah County. Location will be in the parking area on East Cherokee Avenue across from Maria’s Restaurant.
