Roland added a run apiece in the second, fifth and sixth frames and the Knights registered a run in the sixth inning and four in the seventh.
Paden Pitts, Ashton Peters and Carson Wiggins led Roland’s hitters with two hits apiece and Michael Taylor and Konner Lewis each had one hit. Taylor’s hit was a home run and Peters, Pitts and Wiggins recorded a double apiece. Driving in Roland’s runs were Taylor and Avery Moya (2 RBIs each) and Peters and Wiggins (1 apiece). Wiggins (5.1 innings) was the winning pitcher after striking out 14 and walking five while allowing no hits and no earned runs. In relief Taylor (1.2) struck out two and walked three while giving up one hit and three earned runs.
Henryetta committed five errors in the game and Roland had two.
