During the week of April 3 to 9, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 25 animal calls, 72 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

6:34 a.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised someone has broken into his white 2019 Chevy Silverado and they have stolen a pistol and flashlight. He also advised they left behind a turquo...

During the week of April 3 to 9, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 25 animal calls, 72 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:
4/3/23
6:34 a.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised someone has broken into his white 2019 Chevy Silverado and they have stolen a pistol and flashlight. He also advised they left behind a turquoise sweatshirt. -Brian Stone and Jeff Neighbors responded.
1:26 p.m.- Domestic- RP advised that 21-year-old male is intoxicated and has a firearm. He is walking towards the woods now, everything was verbal. -Brian Stone and Austin Blackfox responded.
3:09 p.m.- Traffic- RP advised his dad was driving and when he pulled up to the stoplight in Roland, the car behind him ran into him and when the light turned green, he pulled around him and took off. The victim began to follow him into Muldrow and when he realized he was not going to be able to keep up or stop him, he went to RP’s house to call police and EMS. -Austin Blackfox responded.
4/4/23
2:42 a.m.- EMS – Teenager called and said she had taken 18 ibuprofen. EMS was called to the residence. -Allen Ramey responded.
8:28 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP is requesting to speak with a deputy regarding a letter she received about an accident involving her hurting another party and being sued. Her daughter told her it was a scam and she’d like to ask a deputy about it. -Austin Blackfox responded.
11:03 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1028 Rd. RP advised that Saturday night a lady’s house behind his house burnt down.This morning he got calls from her attorney saying he’s going to get charged with arson and he has proof he was in his front yard when it happened. -Galen Irvin responded.
2:29 p.m.- 10-21 Phone Call- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd. RP advised he was renting from a subject on March 6 and by March 31, she kicked them out with no notice and refuses to give them their security deposit back. -Brian Stone advised it was civil.
4/5/23
3:37 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of E. 103 Rd. RP called to report her mother had been hit with a pop can and her brother threw the can. RP’s mother left the residence. -Allen Ramey responded.
8:20 a.m.- Argument- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised a subject is in his yard screaming and yelling at him. He stated he was working for him and got fired yesterday. RP called back and advised the male subject left but he still wishes to speak to a deputy. -Galen Irvin responded.
10:04 a.m.- Information- 816’s dog got out of his unit and they are trying to locate him. -Colton Goff, Steven Jenkins, Daniel Whitus and Charles House responded.
4/6/23
2:10 p.m.- Disturbance- Subject is at the Gentleman’s Club and refusing to leave upon request. Before officers could arrive the RP called back and advised the subject left and they no longer need assistance. -Cody Parkerson responded.
4:15 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64B. RP would like to speak with a deputy, she is getting divorced and has a PO. He has been advised not to shut off utilities and he is doing that. He has also taken money from her account. -Galen Irvin spoke to party via phone.
7:58 p.m.- Fire- In the vicinity of S. 4622 Rd. RP advised of a fire in the area, appears to be a controlled burn but would like someone to drive by and check to their satisfaction. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
4/7/23
9:24 a.m.- Fraud- In the vicinity of S. 4770 Rd. RP advised they believe they have received counterfeit money. -Brian Stone responded.
12:06 p.m.- Breaking and Entering RP advised her landlord is trying to break in her house and bust out the windows. 310 advised all parties that this was a civil issue. -Vian PD responded.
3:32 p.m.- Sig 81 Accident Without Injuries- RP stated that a vehicle rolled out from the laundromat and struck her parked vehicle. -Vian PD responded.
5:46 p.m.- Information- RP advised a subject assaulted him about three weeks ago and he just got out of the hospital today. When he got home the subject was asleep on his couch. -Mark Choate and Duwaine Chase responded to this call.
7:42 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of Iron Post Smoke Shop. RP advised there is a young boy driving a go-cart or side-by-side in the drainage ditch and he is getting close to the road. -Allen Ramey Responded.
4/8/23
7:56 a.m.- Deputy Assistance- In the vicinity of N. Main. RP advised a subject took her daughter’s phone and won’t give it back. He has left and went back to his house. The RP went over there to get it back and he won’t give it to her. -Austin Blackfox responded.
5:04 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1060 Rd. RP stated a female with white pants and a navy blue shirt is walking down the street with a baseball bat, hitting the mailboxes. -Brian Stone responded.
9:05 p.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of 1092 Rd. RP advised someone was shooting in the area and they believe it is too late for them to be shooting. -Allen Ramey responded.
9:44 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd. RP advised he heard five or six gunshots, then a dark colored car left the area at a high rate of speed.
The car then ran the stop sign at WW Grocery and went south toward Muldrow. -Allen Ramey responded.
4/9/23
2:42 a.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of Treat Rd. RP advised someone is playing loud music and either shooting guns or fireworks in the area. -Allen Ramey responded.
3:07 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1109 Rd. RP advised a neighbor is driving erratic with kids in the vehicle. Said she has passed by several times and RP finally yelled to her to slow down. Subject has stopped in the road yelling and arguing with RP. -Austin Blackfox, Duwaine Chase and Galen Irvin responded.
7:56 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of E. 975 Rd. RP wants to speak to someone about how to file a protective order. -Vian PD and Duwaine Chase spoke to RP via phone.
