Local students going to State Finals

Three Sequoyah County students of Accurate Homeschool placed in the Regional Division of Oklahoma’s Trash Poster program. Sarah Houston, left, placed first, Elizabeth Houston, middle, placed first and Willard Houston placed second in their divisions.

Three Sequoyah County students of Accurate Homeschool placed in the Regional Division of Oklahoma’s Trash Poster program. Sarah Houston placed first, Elizabeth Houston placed first and Willard Houston placed second in their divisions.

The student’s mom/teacher, Farion Houston, said the winning posters have been sent to Oklahoma City to be judged at the state level. Winners there will receive monetary compensation and have their posters printed in a calendar.
