Buffington bean dinner scheduled

The annual Buffington bean dinner will be held Friday, April 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children, under 10.

The menu will consist of beans, potatoes, chili, coleslaw, polk salad, chicken and dumplings, desserts, coffee, tea and lemonade. There will also be a silent auction and dessert auction.

Proceeds go toward the upkeep of Buffington Cemetery.
