Three county golfers qualified for the Class 4A high school girls’ state tournament on Wednesday at Oak Hills Golf Course in Ada.
Sallisaw’s Avery Haywood shot an 18-hole total of 86 and finished fourth, and Muldrow’s Claire Tabor (94) and Charity Moss (101) also qualified for the state tournament, which will be held May 3-4 at Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford.
As a team, Muldrow placed fourth, one spot away from a state berth, and the Lady Bulldogs’ other team members and scores were Hope Moss (105), Cailey Grinstead (110) and Lani Israel (114).
