Vian Nursing and Rehab

Residents looking forward to special activities

Welcome once again to the Vian Nursing and Rehab News. Well I guess Mother Nature decided we didn’t need a picnic at the gazebo as it rained and rained. Oh well, we had an ice cream party instead. We are planning on our picnic still, so we are praying for a little sunshine.

Welcome once again to the Vian Nursing and Rehab News. Well I guess Mother Nature decided we didn’t need a picnic at the gazebo as it rained and rained. Oh well, we had an ice cream party instead. We are planning on our picnic still, so we are praying for a little sunshine.

May is a busy month as we have Nurses Week, Mothers Day, Memorial Day and National Nursing Home Week, with this year’s theme being Cultivating Kindness. We are planning special events for each day of Nursing Home Week with the goal being to come together to participate in activities that promote kindness.

We are very excited and are looking forward to several special activities we have planned. We will be hosting a Mothers Day tea for all of our moms next Friday. We will serve a variety of finger sandwiches, sweets and a variety of iced teas and something a little special for each of our moms.

We will be going to the mall on Friday and the ladies can’t wait to go to JC Penney. It should be great fun as they always are. We have the best time. Of course we will go out to lunch as well.

We are very fortunate to have some of the best nurses in the world and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our nurses. You guys are the very best. Your kindness and caring does not go unnoticed. That’s all for now so until next time…God bless, Annette.
