Think on these things
Warm air crept in during the early morning and tipped the dogwoods with white buds and turned the japónica to tiny leaves and pink to red blossoms. An early spring seems to be in the offing. Every bird is flirting and calling to capture another bird’s mate. Ten deer came visiting very early and ate every kernel of shelled corn before the sun was very high. A basket of seeds await planting and hte roses need to be pruned.

Why is it that we think of the work rather than beauty? My promise to myself is to enjoy rather than seeing what is wrong. Surprising it is that when we decide to enjoy rather than find fault, more things will go right.
When the world gets more and more difficult, we need to take it in our stride and decide very quickly to see Spring’s beauty and to tell ourselves that we are well and strong and able to do what needs attention. Then… to applaud when we see that as true.
