Sing Red, White and Blue winners announced
The Muldrow VFW Auxiliary Post #8384 is pleased to announce this year's winners of solo versions of the Star-Spangled Banner. This contest is divided in K-2; 3-5; 6-8 and 9-12 grades level competition.
The Muldrow VFW Auxiliary Post #8384 has announced this year’s winners of solo versions of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” This contest is divided in K-2; 3-5; 6-8 and 9-12 grades level competition.
First place in ninth through 12th grade competition was Katerina Burner, a 10th grade student at Muldrow High School. Burner also placed second in the state competition.
Second place went to Rebekah Sagely, a ninth grade student at Muldrow High School.
Sing Red, White and Blue is a fairly new contest sponsored by the National VFW Auxiliary and on down to the local posts, according to Jackie Plank, senior vice president of Muldrow VFW Aux. 8384.
