05/08/2023 to 05/15/23 During the week of May 8 to15, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 15 animal calls, 78 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

During the week of May 8 to15, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 15 animal calls, 78 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

5/8/23

9:36 a.m. – Traffic Stop – Brent Fire Dept. Out with black Chevy Silverado, possible rage suspect that pulled a firearm on a RP. – Herb Hutchinson responded.

12:20 p.m. – Trespassing – E. 1026 Rd. – RP says his mother-in-law is at his place with a truck and trailer loading up his stuff. He is requesting a deputy. – Daniel Whitus responded.

12:50 p.m. – Suspicious Person – 4650 and 101 – RP advised he saw a truck he’s never seen before pull into a home and possibly take items and a trailer from a home and when they attempted to leave he got stuck in the ditch. – Colton Goff responded.

2:55 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafe – 1100 4630 Rd. – RP advised while out in his shop he heard a gunshot and felt a bullet go by his head, and saw it ricochet off the gravel. – Daniel Whites responded.

9:48 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – S. 4580 Rd. – RP advised her daughter went outside to let the dogs out and the car door was open. She stated a suspect ran from the car straight to the road. She did not see what he was wearing or what direction he went. – Charles Webber responded.

11:56 p.m. – Altercation – White’s Automotive, Gore – RP advised of a small red Chevy SUV and an older model blue truck in the parking lot. The drivers are outside of the vehicles having some sort of altercation. RP is at her residence nearby and can hear them yelling – Gore PD responded.

5/9/23

6:02 p.m. – Suspicious Person – E. 970 Dr. RP is not at home but said his wife called and said a male in a black shirt and black pants riding a bicycle tried to break into his neighbor’s shop. Suspect threw an item into the yard of the RP and rode off. RP doesn’t know if entry was made into the neighbor’s house. – Charles Webber responded.

7:37 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – S. 4701 Rd. RP advised he believes suspicious activity is happening down the road from his residence. There have been people bringing RV’s, cars, etc. The RV is gone now but a dark blue Chevy Malibu is there now. The tag is no longer on the vehicle, it’s on the side of the road. He thinks they’re trying to hide the vehicles, wants someone to check it out. – Jeff Neighbors responded.

10:39 p.m. – Disturbance – E. 1120 Rd. – RP advised someone was released from jail and is intoxicated, acting crazy and has destroyed the house. – Cody Parkerson responded.

5/10/23

8:12 a.m. – Trespassing – E. 1120 Rd. – RP advised the person name back to the house and came in and started destroying things again. He left in a black vehicle, unknown direction of travel. Called back about 30 minutes later and said the person is back again. – Roger Johnson responded.

2:18 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafe – E. 1050 Rd. – RP advised she is at Walmart and a friend called her who is at her house and told her to all 911 because a woman just came to the RP’s house and said someone was shooting at her. Her car is parked down by the river bank. – Austin Blackfox responded.

8:53 p.m. – Other – E. 1120 Rd. – RP called and advised he was at his neighbor’s house and had just purchase his home. While they were looking around in the air system, they found some hand grenades and want someone to come and remove them. – Allen Ramey responded.

5/11/23

4:13 p.m. – Property Dispute – E. 1057 Rd. RP advised that he fertilizes and hays his grass and a family member comes onto the property and destroys his land. He wants his family member off his property Steven Edwards responded.

5:13 p.m. – Stolen Property – Dollar Store – RP called and reported that she had been at the Dollar Store and thinks her purse was stolen from her vehicle. She waited until she got home to make sure she did not leave it there. She needs to file a report for the theft – Austin Blackfox responded.

10:04 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy. 64 Dollar Store – Rp advised an older model Ford truck was infant of the store with the doors open and they couldn’t see anyone around. The store is about to close and they are concerned to go outside. They asked if someone could check the vehicle. – Jeff Neighbors responded.

5/12/23

9:11 a.m. – Suspicious Person – S. 4539 Rd. – RP advised they were told three people have been casing out their property, one female and two males. Driving a white KIA with a spare tire on it. RP advised one of them was dropped off at the house and he walked up and looked for items. He then meets back up with the vehicle back down the road around the other trailer park or near Hopper’s Corner. – Daniel Whites responded.

5/13/23

9:06 a.m. – Other – E. 1050 Rd. – RP advised he found a pistol in a ditch in front of his house. – Daniel Whites responded.

12:06 p.m. – Threats – Sallisaw PD – Two male subjects are out at Sallisaw PD they want to make a report about their neighbor threatening to shoot them. – Galen Irvin responded.

7:07 p.m. – Vandalism – S. 4750 Rd. – RP advised she heard a loud noise outside of her home and went out to find the back window to her vehicle had been broken out. She was not sure what happened but wants to talk to a deputy. – Joshua Huff responded.

5/14/23

1:29 p.m. – Trespassing – 1100 Rd. – RP called and wants to speak with deputy regarding trespasser on her deceased father’s property. She advised that she was the estate executor. – Galen Irvin responded.

3:02 p.m. – Other – 1054 Rd. – RP called and asked if deputy was in the area to drive thru because people were riding 4-wheelers and were trying to run over dogs in the area. – Galen Irvin responded.

5/15/23

4:44 a.m. – Other – 4770 Rd. – EMS on scene for an elderly female with difficulty breathing and they are requesting law enforcement for possible elder abuse. – Cody Parkerson responded.
