Members of the Muldrow VFW and Auxiliary Post 8384 were privileged and honored to provide drinks and snacks for the riders.
“They ride for those who can’t and have been doing this since 1989. They are the largest and longest organized cross-country motorcycle run in the world,” Jackie Plank, Sr. Vice President of Muldrow VFW Auxiliary 8384, said.
The run starts in Ontario, Calif. and 10 days later, arrives on Friday of Memorial weekend in Washington D.C. They travel along four routes and arrive on the same day.
Their mission is to “Promote healing among ALL veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action, to honor the memory of those Killed in Action from all wars, and to support our military personnel all over the world.’
