Mulberry Coffee Cake

½ cup milk ½ cup white sugar 1 egg, beaten 2 Tbsps. vegetable oil 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsps. baking powder ¼ tsp. salt 2 cups mulberries Crumb Topping ¾ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup brown sugar ¼ cup white sugar 3 Tbsps. butter Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper. Beat milk, 1/2 cup white sugar, egg and oil in a bowl. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix until smooth. Pour into baking pan and top with mulberries. For topping, mix flour, brown sugar and white sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter and stir until mixture resembles crumbs, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle over cake. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
