Members elect new officers

By Billie Anthony

We had eight ladies this past Monday.

We had eight ladies this past Monday. We had a loss of 11.3 pounds, a gain of 2.5 with a net loss of 8.8. Annette had the best weight loss for the week with 3.6 pounds lost.

We are all excited about the Losers Lotto Contest and the Surprise Box. This week the Two Bit Bowl quarters went to the Treasury. Our Chapter Challenge this week is to keep a food journal.

Billie read Amanda’s Newsletter with schedules of Fun Days, Divisional winners, KOPS status and other award winners. We decided on an option of the three choices of how to deal with meals at Fun Day for our State Coordinator, Randy. As a chapter, we decided on paying $13 for both the registration and meal. Next week we will be going over our Chapter Bylaws.

We had fascinators to choose to wear for our Installation of Officers on July 31st. We will be having lunch at Aromas and having the Installation of Officers for 2024.

We had our election of Officers today June 12th. The new officers are as follows: Leader: Billie Anthony Co-Leader: Annette Brown Sec./Treasurer: Doris Long Weight Recorder: Donna Gowen Asst. Weight Recorder: Virginia Oliver Sunshine Lady: Mary Brown Historian: Phyllis Branham The new officers will take their positions August 7th. We are looking forwards to a new year and hope to encourage others to join our group.

The program was TOPS 10 Tips for Aging Gracefully.

We closed our meeting with the TOPS Pledge.

EVERYONE is invited to visit. The FIRST VISIT is FREE. It cost $49 a year to join TOPS Club INC. We meet at First Christian Church, 706 N Wheeler, Sallisaw, Monday at 10:30 a.m.-noon. We begin weighing at 10:30 a.m., and the meeting starts at 11 a.m. and ends at noon. For more info, call Billie at 918-413-1383. We look forward to meeting you.
