Arkansas women golfers represented on All-American scholar team
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas women’s golf was well represented on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Now a fourtime selection, Julia Gregg made the list along with three-time selection Kajal Mistry and rising sophomore Reagan Zibilski.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas women’s golf was well represented on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Now a four-time selection, Julia Gregg made the list along with three-time selection Kajal Mistry and rising sophomore Reagan Zibilski.
Gregg, Mistry and Zibilski are three of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers across all divisions recognized for this honor. To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, be an amateur on the team’s roster through the close of the team’s season and have played in 50 percent of the collegiate’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
Coach Shauna Taylor continues to coach a group of women who achieve success both on and off the golf course. Coming off her 16th season at the helm, this year became the 14th year, seventh consecutively, at least one of her student-athletes was named a WGCA All-American Scholar Athlete. The women’s golf team also led all Arkansas women’s sports with the highest GPA in the spring at 3.583.
