County sales tax income up from last year
The Oklahoma Tax Commission recently released city sales tax collection figures that primarily represents local tax receipts from December business. The monies they reported this period represent sales from April 16 to 30 and estimated sales from May 16 to 31, 2023.
The Oklahoma Tax Commission recently released city sales tax collection figures that primarily represents local tax receipts from December business. The monies they reported this period represent sales from April 16 to 30 and estimated sales from May 16 to 31, 2023.
Statewide, the disbursement of $203,202,715 in sales tax collections returned to the cities and towns reflected an increase of $8,545,831 from the $194,656,884 distributed to the cities and towns in February last year. The use tax disbursement to cities and town was $34,676,330 according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
In county returns, the counties shared in a $34,613,200 sales tax disbursement and a $6,495,759 use tax disbursement.
