Residents preparing for Senior Olympics

Hello again and welcome again to our nursing home news. It’s been a busy week around the home as usual. We have made cake pops, homemade ice cream, took a virtual trip to the Grand Canyon and have had an ice cream social. And those are just the extra activities we have had.

Of course bingo will always be the crowd favorite especially now that we play for Bingo Bucks and they can redeem them monthly at the company store, which is stocked with jewelry, perfumes, cologne, hats, purses, knick-knacks, goodies and so much more.

We have ventured out to Walmart on several occasions but it’s so darn hot outside we go early to try to beat the heat. Just think, August isn’t even here yet.

We are so excited and are gathering our team for the 23rd annual Senior Olympics. Oh what fun we have and are so happy it’s back. We will keep you informed of our progress.
